I have been practicing yoga under Caitlin's guidance for almost a year now. I feel as though she has helped me advance my practice not only by explaining postures and their health benefits, but also by incorporating the mental aspects of yoga, ensuring a deep understanding of how the mind is intimately connected to the condition of the physical body. Caitlin has come to my home to lead small private sessions, where she coached me in restorative practices such as self-massage and provided an informative session on the Chakras. I have also had the opportunity to participate in one of Caitlin's weekend yoga retreats, where we combined yoga, interpretive movement, art and writing to set goals for the new year and improve mindfulness, which I truly feel had an incredible influence on my ability to reset my mind and body, and stay focused on my goals and intentions.
