Jennifer T. says, "I’ve lived in my home for 21 years. Over time my basement became a dumping ground of each year we grew as a family. The past couple of years every time I went to do laundry it was like a maze of piled high containers and boxes, etc. I got so stressed and felt intimidated to clean it up. My husband and son just wanted everything thrown away in a rented junk bin at the side of our house. I knew there was so much down there that could be given away or just organized better. At the end of 2023 I asked my husband to gift me a special Christmas, birthday, Valentine’s Day and Anniversary gift. I wanted to hire a professional organizer. I joined Thumbtack and saw Nilza’s friendly smiling face, read her bio and selected her to reach out to help. She has been fantastic at helping get my basement back under control. She is very easy to work with. She opens everything and discusses with me what I want to do with any items we come across. Whether to keep, donate or throw away. She knows her stuff and just goes and goes like the energizer bunny. Cleaning, decision making and organizing with her is like working with a friend. She’s had several visits and each one has been like more of a weight is being lifted off me. I’m seeing my basement evolving into the way it’s meant to be. No more stressing or fear going into the basement any longer, thanks to her guidance, strong work ethics and comfortable friend camaraderie. I can’t thank her enough for what she’s done for me and my family. You’re a God send Nilza. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the peace you’ve helped give us. Thank you so very much!"See more

Betsy G. says, "Where do I start?!? Missy and Troy were fantastic. Missy responded immediately to my message for help with a large (and complex) move. We were moving from our house of 20 years in Metro West Boston: part of the move was to storage, and part of it was into an apartment in Boston. Because of a medical issue, I recognized that I could not pack up our house in the time frame ahead of me. I messaged Missy, and she spent literally the next two or three weeks—for 6-8 hours a day, and a Saturday, too, as we got down to the wire—helping me sort, organize and pack. She is a rockstar at moving logistics, and she and Troy are professional yet also fun. We never could have made the move without Missy (and Troy!). It would have been disastrous without Missy and Troy. Missy took all of the stress out of the move. She coordinated the movers (and a separate company for crating some very delicate pieces) for a two day move to the two different places and also arranged for a trash and donation company to come out a few times (we had a lot of stuff). She literally covered all the bases, and because she had long term work relationships with the people she recommended, we had full confidence in all aspects of the move. As far as other aspects of working together, I found that Missy and Troy were always on time, always prepared with materials, great at finding long-lost things (!!) and—again—friendly and truly fun to work with. I could not recommend anyone more highly. My only regret? I should have asked if Missy and Troy could help us with the unpacking on the other end!! Hire Missy if you want a well coordinated, professional, and highly experienced moving and moving logistics professional."See more
