Justice Gladys is a one woman army. If you want you wedding day to be special look no more. When we requested her to offciate our wedding she helped us with the venue and the food, She even sat with us for to customize the ceremony according to our story. We are from India and she was so creative that she very subtly did a fusion of Hindu and Christian marriage which each and every guest applauded as well. I am very happy and blessed that I chose Gladys to do the wedding and I am sure she is the Best :)
Headspin Events was great to work with. Lourdes listened to what I wanted budget locations and theme and tried very hard to find us a location. Unfortunately for the time of year in the summer and what we were looking for we couldn't find a place. But let's just say I will no longer look for anyone. She will be my go to event planner. Her kindness, attentiveness as if you were her only client speak volumes. Thank you so much and see you next year for planning. 👍🏼
Jennifer was very pleasant to work with during my baby shower. She responded very quick to all of my questions. My shower was held at the Hilton in Danvers ma, where Jen worked with my mom by taking the stress off my moms back so mom could enjoy herself. The center pieces were done so tastefully that I still get complements on. I would recommend Jen to anyone who wants to plan an event that is stress free. Jennifer truly goes above and beyond and it shows in her work.
Belle was amazing! As an event planner, I had turned to Belle to help me bring my client's vision to a reality and she came through 100%! She listened to my needs and offered her expertise and together came up with a great design. She came early the day of the event and set up with her team and then took down afterwards....I felt spoiled as she handled everything. Will defiantly work with her again!! We had a great experience with John Boardman catering our event last week. John was wonderful and helpful both online and on the phone as we were planning the menu. John ended up doing a slider bar and beautiful crudité platters for us. John delivered these to our home personally. He was very helpful with heating and serving instructions and very generous with the portions and left us serving utensils as well. John did a beautiful job. the presentation was great. We would definitely use John again for another event!
We wanted to cater an event for several of our accounts during a conference in another state. Lori helped us with the planning and catering. The event was set up well and the food was delicious!
ThinkingPhones Networks I started in the HR Department at Thinkingphones networks and was immediately given the task to plan the company summer outing. I thought "Piece of cake." My work load on top organizing this event became extremely stressful. I began to search the web for a local event planners and stumbled upon S.Y.B Event Planning Services where I met Soraya who was a lifesaver. Working with Soraya was amazing! I told her my sad story and she made magic happen. She stayed on budget, was very professional, and had a great attitude which is key. The food, the DJ, the venue and the team building exercise were the best. There was so much laughter and positive energy in the air. The summer outing was a huge success!!!! My CEO, CFO, And all the other important people who have acronyms were extremely impressed. I am going to defiantly reach out to her for my company Holiday party and my personal wedding. I wish I could choose more options because John did a fantastic job at our party. The photo booth was a hit with everyone! I’m sorry to say I forgot the woman’s name who was helping John but she was great interacting and engaging people into the event. I will definitely look to use TPF in the future! The DJ and MC services that Nancy provided were outstanding. She showed up well before the required time and allowed me to pay the day of the event. The price for the services was also very reasonable. The fundraiser went off without a hitch and Nancy was a great help. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks again!
Extremely Competent and Talented - Delicious food - Impeccable professionalism - Very Reasonable Pricing Expertise in the field is immediately evident. Upon our first call, I knew Deirdre was highly capable of handling our event. Her years of experience have made her confident in her execution - which made me as a client secure and calm that Slavin in the Kitchen would handle our event as anticipated and without incident. This particular event that we hired Deirdre for was a very personal one - a Celebration of Life gathering at our home after my Mother-in-laws passing. I desired a very specific passed hors doeuvres menu to honor my Mother-in-law to include her favorite foods. Deirdre didnt blink. She was completely amicable with creating offerings that are not typically on her appetizer menu. She made excellent suggestions and designed special hors doeuvres just for our memorial. We certainly didnt provide her with the best working conditions - and she didnt even shrug! I requested that she work out of our garage so that guests could have full use of our kitchen. She did so flawlessly and to boot - when she left, you would have never even known she was there! I would have been happy to rent cooking equipment for her to use, but as an added bonus - she had it all in her inventory and brought it with her. Our guests were swooning over her cuisine! I received MANY compliments on how delicious folks found her cooking to be. Guests even took her name and number so that they may hire Slavin in the Kitchen for future events. I am still dreaming about the Curried Chicken Tartlets and the Masala Chai!! SO TASTY!! I need to note how lovely and professional her Serving staff were as well! As an Event Planner, Ive experienced that even if the Chef is professional and capable - the crew they bring to serve isnt always as fabulous. That was certainly not true of Slavin in the Kitchens Servers. The two ladies were courteous, crisp, polite and gracious. They knew the tone of the event and were overwhelmingly sensitive to our family and guests. I was delighted with how our event was handled by Slavin in the Kitchen. Valerie and Veronica are not only amazing party planners but they both work extremely hard and are dedicated to making your event one to remember. They are on top of everything, extremely detail oriented, quick responding, genuine, and want to satisfy your visions times TEN! We had our baby shower on February 4, 2017 and it was honestly AMAZING!!! When we walked into the venue we were blown away with the creativity and effort put into the props, center pieces, back drops, lighting, everything was PERFECT! Our guests walked in and asked if our baby shower was a wedding LOL. This shows how extremely detailed and beautiful our set up was. We were beyond happy with the turn out! Everything was gorgeous from the decorations to the sweets and the entire set up! It was the baby shower that we always dreamed of and will remember forever. These ladies made it happen, I truly recommended her for anyone who wants to have that perfect event they always dreamed of. They are one of a kind and you WILL NOT be disappointed! Everyone needs the Professional Maid of Honor at their wedding or event! Katelynn took initiative in so many ways before and on the day of my wedding. Leading up to the event, Katelynn was a great listener. She heard and understood what I envisioned for the day when other people didn't, she helped me think thorough back up plans in case of rain, and when the day came she coordinated everything seamlessly. It's true what everyone says, your wedding day flys by! Having Katelynn there allowed my husband and I to spend more time chatting with our guests. While we were enjoying ourselves, Katelynn made sure the day flowed as planned. She started the transition from cocktail hour to dinner, made sure our speakers were ready to give their toasts, transitioned us into the dance hall after dinner, and so much more. I could go on forever about all the helpful things Katelynn did on our wedding day. What I loved most about working with her was her fun and positive attitude. She took on every change or task without hesitation. Any stress or worry we had about the wedding day running smoothly disappeared once we found and talked with Katelynn. Cathy was unbelievably helpful with my event. She was happy to be available for anything I needed and had the creativity, attention to detail, and work ethic I needed to complete my event successfully. She made it so I could enjoy my event without having to worry about logistics or breakdown and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for event coordinating.
I had a last minute Holiday cocktail party and needed drop off service for hors d'oeuvres. Anna was very professional. She thought of everything starting from the smallest details. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it!!!
Cyn is a true professional. From the beginning to the end she individualized our planning for our 1st wedding anniversary party, and worked within the budget we provided her with. Cyn is very detail oriented, and provided ongoing communication throughout the planning process. Our guests were so impressed with the final product, and most importantly, we were stress free the day of our event! For future events, my husband and I will definitely be contacting Cyn Celebrations!
They did not show up and did not respond to any communication during or after the event as to why there was a no-show! Very upsetting.
We hired Sweetly Designed Events for our wedding back in September 2016. We had a very large wedding with over 250 guests and really needed help with design and day of coordinating. The owner Amanda really helped us with all the details and meet with us several times before the wedding to help us with the process. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything.
