I have been having French lessons with Paul for the last three years. Paul is just fabulous. His command over teaching French language is par excellence. He is just the greatest teacher I have ever worked with online. If you really want to learn and have fun at the same time Choose Paul!!!
The secretaries at Alliance Francaise do a fantastic job of being personal and organized. I had to withdraw from classes one session and they transferred my money to the next session without any heckling or difficulty. They converse in French or English depending on the abilities of the person and are extremely helpful!
Samantha is a pro. She is both patient and persistent! I highly recommend her for anyone interested in learning French.
It was a great pleasure to hire Charbel last fall to teach my daughter Stacy. Charbel is one of the most exceptionally talented tutors I have encountered so far. Charbel taught Stacy mathematics and french. He has a keen interest in and talent for his subjects. He is strongly dedicated to teach and was eager to help her improve and progress intellectually. I highly recommend him as a tutor.
My daughter was only 5 when we started lessons and I was worried that she would not take to learning French but Delia has been patient and great with her. We've only been working with Delia for a few months but I can see a long and productive partnership in our future. Highly recommended!
Laurence King is, in my experience, one of the most intelligent and vital people I have had the privilege to meet - and from whom to learn. I am studying French in order to learn to speak and to read and to absorb as much as possible of the culture as is embodied in the language. Laurence has been, in private lessons with me successively: a patient listener and instructor when I could hardly utter two French words in succession; a willing collaborator in my search for the spirit on the French language; a very sympathetic coach in my reading of the literature - Camus, for example; and a ready and willing interpreter in my almost constant search for the subtler meanings of what I read in the French press - exchanges between us that go on from time-to-time by email. Laurence's fearsome "stylo-rouge" is ever ready to set me straight - whether it is in clearing up contextual misunderstandings or simple grammatical matters. I am always refreshed at her grasp of things and her sense of humor in letting-me-down easily when corrections are in order. I am always rewarded in asking Laurence's help. James Armstrong
I needed some translation from to english from french - it was a 10 page document with academic language and general conversation. Amaury was an awesome choice: he was fast, the translation was flawless and he gave me the flexibility of doing changes when necessary. Highly recommended!
Carolyne is such a great tutor. A good way of knowing whether someone is a great teacher is when they know how to continue lessons and keep it going even during the unexpected. I didn't tell Carolyne my level of French but she was able to find a way to continue our lesson right away and I was really impressed. Also, I absolutely love positive reinforcement and she was great at that, it was nice to receive feedback from her. She's sweet and very friendly, I highly recommend her! Merci beaucoup Carolyne!!
I am a French native (female), born in Nomandy. I am a CPA by trade and also an adjunct college professor (I teach accounting/finance/taxation). I moved to the USA in the late 80s to work for a public accounting firm in New York. I relocated in the Boston area, lived 14 years in Wellesley, MA then moved to Sherborn, MA. I have two daughters and a small farm with horses. I have been teaching French in private tutoring for more than ten years, usually in a one-on-one session or small group sessions. I have done sessions with small children reading books in French or playing games, reviewing French school programs (such as the CNED) etc. With adults, we have conversation in French on current events or topics of choice, preparation for a trip to a French speaking country, or business-related preparation (French business trip, French customers, etc).

I am fluent in both English and German, offering English and/or German language tutoring as well as translation services. After completing my high school diploma at an English language international school in Germany, I spent a year assisting elementary teachers at the international school. Further, I have spent the last year of college in Boston tutoring college and graduate students in German.
As a bilingual teacher, I tutor in English and French. Students get individual attention and help so as to become more skillful in understanding and expressing themselves in English or French. Born in the U.S, I learned French as a child and lived for 14 years in French-speaking countries. I have also been teaching English for many years.
I've been teaching and tutoring for over four years and have great experience tutoring children, teens, and adults. I teach students how to master test taking and enhance their test attitude. Attitude is fundamental to the success or failure that we experience in our life! My major focus, however, is international students as they need special approach and advice in order to succeed!

I work as a Regulatory Affairs professional, but I also do tutoring. I am a French native, and French is my primary language. I attended all my classes in French from kindergarten to high school. All subjects were taught by French teachers, and all study materials were in French. In addition to being fluent in speaking and understanding French, I am also very proficient in French grammar, French literature, and writing. As a Regulatory Affairs professional, some of my duties involve translating documents from French to English and vice versa. My tutoring experience started as far back as high school. I was just helping a friend who was failing physics. To my surprise, she learned it so well that she ended up passing the course with a B. I was happy for her and proud of myself. Needless to say, I became a peer tutor when I started college. I obtained a certification for tutoring from Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) where I majored in Chemistry and Biology. I graduated with honors (3.5/4.0) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. I also obtained a minor in French Language and Literature (4.0/4.0). 1990-1994 - I worked at ENMU as a Tutor for French, Biology, Chemistry, and Algebra. I was also a French Teacherâs Assistant and French Substitute Teacher. I tutored all level of French courses as well as grading homework and exams. As substitute teacher, I also taught all French courses as needed. 1994-1995 - I was a Night School Teacher at Wayne Community College for returning high school students. I taught science to students ranging from 18 to 50 years of age. 2001-2002 - I worked for StudySmart as a Tutor for the following subjects: SAT/PSAT Prep, Biology, Chemistry and French. I received great reviews from the students and their parents about my tutoring style and approach. My students found my teaching style "fun." I was also told that I was not "rigid" as the other tutors they worked with and that my personality (I am a people person, very lively and full of energy) made them feel comfortable working with me. In 2002, I went back to school and obtained a Master of Science degree from Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a 3.7/4.0, and in 2009, I graduated from nursing school. In my spare time, I write French poetry. I plan to publish them in the very near future. I am a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who is also a people person. My years of experience, my teaching style and my personality the fact that French make me suitable to be a Tutor for any organization.
I am a full professor of Spanish and French, with 34+ years in the university classroom. --I ONLY WORK WITH INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED LEVELS OF SPEAKING AND WRITING (no beginners). -- PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME FOR BEGINNING LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION. --I PREFER INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN UNIVERSITY OR LANGUAGE COURSES. I am especially good at facilitating structured conversation with a grammatical base, so that there is a context upon which to build language skills. --MINIMUM TIME IS ONE HOUR LESSON--NOT 45 MINUTES. MY RATES REFLECT MY TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. FEWER SESSIONS THAN ONCE A WEEK WILL NOT PRODUCE RESULTS. IDEALLY THEY SHOULD RUN FOR TWO HOURS IN ORDER TO PROGRESS. LANGUAGE IS NOT LEARNED BY OSMOSIS! LEARNING A LANGUAGE IS HARD HARD WORK.
I teach French in all its components: Grammar, Vocabulary, Elocution, Redaction, Stylistique, Dissertation...
Learn French without stopping fun, and learning French food can be an opportunity to learn a new language.
