Nick worked with my fiance and I before our wedding and was great. He kept us motivated to go to early morning sessions and got us in great shape for the wedding. It was our first time working with a personal trainer and we had a great experience. We would 100% recommend Nick to anyone he was incredibly easy to work with, checked in before every session, was always on time and wasn't intimidating to work with.
At the time of this review I have been to see Melanie 6 times over the past month. When I decided to hire a personal trainer I was apprehensive, terrified and not really sure I even wanted to do it. I hate exercising. Let me repeat that. I HATE EXERCISING. Melanie immediately calmed all of my fears and corrected my preconceived "Hollywood" notions about personal trainers. She is very focused on helping me attain my goals in a way that is best for me. Even though she explains to me the "why" of each exercise she has me do, (which helps me stay focused on the correct form which I LOVE) the best thing Melanie does for me is keep me motivated. She is so very friendly and supportive. She makes me want to succeed even if it is just to see her get excited for me. I just know, no matter how defeated I feel once Melanie is smiling for me I will be to get though whatever it is she is asking me to do. She is the perfect personal cheerleader. Her excitement is infectious and she is the reason that after just a month I am starting to work out at home under my own motivation since she keeps me accountable, because I send her a text message when I have done stuff on my own, which keeps me going. Then we get to smile and be excited together. No matter what is going on around me or how many people are not eating right, exercising at all or are sensitive to my desire to change my lifestyle, I have Melanie in my camp so I am not alone anymore. I am very glad that I found her.
Alec worked with me for about 6 weeks to get me in shape after our long winter and to get ready for a beach vacation with friends. Alec came to my home 3 days a week and was always on time and professional. Our 1 hour workouts left me feeling wonderful and motivated. By the end of the 6 weeks I was visibly in better shape...my arms were more toned and I lost a few inches all around. Alec is extremely personable and I would highly recommend him as your personal trainer.
Mark Cotreau is a great personal trainer. He helped integrate me into crossfit training and the Treehouse Athletics North Shore Crossfit gym. He is very easy to work with and is very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a trainer.

Ive trained with Kandace for a year now. She gives a personalized 1 to 1 training tailored to help me achieve my specific fitness goals. Her seasoned knowledge in muscle conditioning, core workouts, agility & strength training have greatly helped condition me for my Spartan Races. She is always prepared & makes it a point to clearly show you how to correctly perform each exercise. And there is no lack of her generous motivation that I sometimes need to finish her tough workouts. She quickly observed my poor breathing & lack of flexibility. Her suggestion to try yoga along with her nutrition & diet tips, helped make a positive difference in my overall fitness & health. And in my opinion, Kandace being a registered nurse just adds another layer of knowledge & professionalism that makes her stand out. She is an excellent personal trainer & nutrition coach!
I have worked with Steve for nearly eighteen years because he makes strength training fun, totally focuses on me to make sure that I am doing the movements correctly (so that I won't inadvertently injury myself), and easily adapts an exercise on the fly if I'm sore from having twisted the wrong way while lifting something too heavy at home. His is not a "cookie cutter" approach because he personalizes every workout session for each client and their specific needs. He recognized long ago that the needs and abilities of older clients are different from younger clients. To meet the needs of his older clients, he created LROM (limited range of motion) for strength training. I worked with other trainers but chose to work with Steve because he is worth the money. If you are considering using a personal trainer, look no further.
