The environment here is amazing. My mother and I took a yoga class with Shelby and she is knowledgeable, patient and understanding. Great for beginners and those who are coming back after a long break. She makes the class fun while still keeping the room zen.
Hannah is kind, caring, patient, gentle, and a very good teacher. I'm not a quick study with yoga and often struggle to follow teachers. Hannah didn't rush through her teaching and explained things clearly enough for me to pick things up; she would come around and correct or explain postures with which I may have had some difficulty. And she is a spiritual person; she "walks the walk." ... So, overall, Hannah was great, no doubt about it! If she was still in the Boston area, I'd run (or walk mindfully) to her classes!

Welcome to Yana Yoga. My name is Amber LaPointe, owner and founder of Yana Yoga. In my classes, I try to keep things light and fun, but challenging and focused. I work to help my students integrate the mind, body and breathe in a way that leaves them feeling calm, yet strong and renewed. My teaching style is a mix of different styles, but mainly Vinyasa (for people who have no clue what that means, it simply means that I often sync the breath with movement).
