I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from Bulent. I have no prior experience in music and decided to take voice coaching lessons so I can begin singing in my church. Bulent clearly has a vast knowledge of music and patiently taught me the fundamentals which I found very valuable for a beginner like me. I learned so much from the first lesson and was so motivated I immediately signed up for weekly sessions. Despite his many accomplishments and impressive music career, Bulent was down to earth, patient and friendly which made for a session where I felt more comfortable and more receptive to learn. I am very excited and optimistic to see how my voice improves over time!
I signed my 5 year old daughter up for singing lessons, and she is quite shy. Julie has been very kind and good at making my daughter feel comfortable and confident.
Aliana provides a friendly and very welcoming environment. Especially for me who has never had a singing lesson before, she made me feel so comfortable. I am an actor, and as an actor I wanted to develop my voice as it is essential to actor's craft. We started with many fun exercises honing in on my natural speaking voice which developed into my singing voice thanks to Aliana and her training, I noticed great results within only a few lessons! I highly recommend Aliana as a voice teacher, she provides such positive reinforcement that will only excel you toward your vocal goals. Josh P.
A perfect match for my 15 year old daughter taking singing lessons. Amanda's knowledge, talent, and enthusiasm are contagious. She has fostered my daughter's confidence and developed her singing skills. I highly recommend Amanda. You become part of her singing family and she gives more than 100% of herself each lesson. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
My son has been taking piano lessons with Lenae for the past 5 years and we have been very happy with her. As he is approaching his teenage years, it's been a bit of a struggle to keep him interested but Lenae works hard to keep him engaged. She tries to find music he prefers while keeping him progressing musically. She is very patient and has a gentle manner with my son. Lenae also provides thorough and useful feedback on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Lenae if you are seeking piano lessons for your child or yourself (she has adult students too).
After just a few lessons, my singing has improved and I can play simples songs on the keyboard.
Cristina has been teaching our two daughters (now 10 and 11) for the last three years. We feel blessed to have found her 3 years ago through Berklee school of music. She is a gifted singer, and prepares weekly lesson plans for our daughters. She focuses on music theory, does vocal warm-ups and has helped them tremendously with their performance skills. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does and cares not just about the girls progress in singing but about them as a whole, their confidence and well-being. However, not only is Cristina, an amazing teacher and vocalist, but she is a role model to our girls and has become part of our family. We feel so fortunate to have found Cristina. Anyone looking for singing lessons would be lucky to have Cristina.
I have been taking guitar lessons with David since 2010. He's a remarkable instructor. He covers everything from technique to songwriting to theory to you name it. I've learned a great deal from him and it has been fun. You'll have a blast too!
Emily is a creative and skilled teacher that is able to transform singing lessons into a fun experience. Very good at providing individually tailored lessons, she does not burden students with unnecessary structure. Emily connects well with male and female students across all age groups. I can recommend Emily to everyone that is interested in improving/perfecting his/her singing skills.
I'm in my 80s and am taking jazz lessons from Joyce. She is a friend as well as a teacher. She shares her enthusiasm for music and teaches not just about playing the piano but also about the composers and the ways of personalizing my playing. Taking lessons from her has been a wonderful experience for me. I would recommend her to all age groups as she is so attuned to each person she is teaching. She's a special person.
As a young woman I studied voice as I dreamed of one day singing at The Met. My teacher encouraged me to go to New York, but a trepidation of being on stage and a career kept me in Boston. After quitting my job I was looking for something fun to do and my son encouraged me to sing again and recommended lessons with his teacher. Gabe is great. As an older student I truly appreciate his ear, his attention to even the smallest details of my voice and his amazing ability to help me to bring out the richer qualities of my voice. He has also built my confidence and I finally sang before an audience. If only I’d known him in the 80s who knows what might have happened because at Wednesday lessons I feel like I could fly.
Looking forward to beginning singing lessons in June. Thank you! Melody Rajotte
She is the best! I am a cardiologist at Boston and our lessons during my lunch breaks are my sessions of meditation. The questionnaire (5 questions) that she gave me after our first meeting was brilliant. She understands me perfectly and she creates the greatest repertoire for me. After 6 months, I can say that we worked on anatomy, breathing techniques, singing quality, expanding my range, learning my voice and discovering my true voice with my favorite songs. Her professionalism put music to another level for me. I am having small gigs and enjoying being on stage!
I decided to take up the violin again after last having touched one over forty years ago. I have been taking violin lessons with Haley for over six months. She quickly helped me get back some sense of the instrument. She has been patiently taking me through scales, rhythm, tempo, sight reading , and in addition has exposed me to the basics of music theory. I have found her to be welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, yet also professional. We go through scale drills, are making our way through basic Hal Leonard books, and even do a little jamming on some rock ballads that she has downloaded for us to play along with. I haven't been practicing as much as I could or should, but Haley is cool with it. It's all been a challenge for me, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. When I progress to a higher level of playing ability, I am certain her high level of violin musicianship and teaching skill will be greatly helpful in allowing me to reach my musical goals. I would highly recommend Haley as a violin teacher for aspiring musicians of all skill levels.
Chris is talented, kind, sensitive and flexible. She has shaped voice lessons for my child in a way that has encouraged her interest and cultivated her natural abilities. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris!
I have been taking voice lessons with Katie once a week for more than two months now at the time of writing this review. In just two short months, I have noticed improvements in my overall vocal skills and I am still learning a lot from Katie. She is patient, encouraging and is a joy to work with. You do not have to have a prior interest in classical music to enjoy learning classical singing techniques from her. I find that I can always apply what I learned onto my own singing style. I am happy to have found Katie :)
I began taking voice lessons with Ashley in the summer of 2016 when I decided to begin a new solo project. The idea of singing was quite intimidating to me, but my experience with Ashley has eradicated that intimidation. She is a patient and thorough teacher who utilizes technique-building exercises, as well as songs (which show the practical application of the exercises). I've enjoyed every lesson, I've always walked out feeling like I've understood each lesson, and I know I'm a better a singer now thanks to her. What more could I ask for?
I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!
Joyce is a lovely person whose knowledge of music is profound. We always have a great time a my lessons and I learn a lot.
Just started working with Michael. He’s a talented artist and passionate about Music which is exactly what I was looking for in a music (singing) instructor for my 15 year old daughter. She looks forward to her lesson and most recently creating her own songs!
