Anita was great- we ( my teenage daughter and I) did a private first yoga lesson to get introduced to the practice. Anita explained each pose - the how to do and health benefits. She also adjusted the difficulty of each pose to meet our capabilities. I plan to sign up for a group session with Anita that's starting in a couple of weeks based on the very positive first experience! Anita's a great teacher!
Natasha’s 10 week whole body balance course was truly life changing. I’ve tried nutrition coaching before and Natasha’s is by far the best health and wellness coach I’ve ever had. She’s very warm, knowledgable, and worked with me on a plan that was clearly personalized for me. After the course not only were my eating habits changed for the better, but my whole lifestyle changed. I’m more energetic, am sleeping great, and just more relaxed and happy. Thanks Natasha!
I've been taking Broga classes with Tim since the beginning of the year, and his classes have become a part of my week that I look forward to. He has a very calm demeanor and and explains the poses very well for newcomers. I'm not a morning person at all, but I'd get up early to take his morning class. I recommend Tim very highly whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
I recently decided to try yoga. I have never really done it before so I was really nervous about going to a yoga studio and being the only one that couldn't do it! A freind of mine suggested I contact Lisa. She was quick to respond and was extremely professional. I have had three private sessions so far and I can't say enough about her. I have leaned so much from her and she offers modifications for things I'm not able to do properly. I would highly recommend Lisa. She's an excellent instructor!
The yoga lessons with Sara were very helpful for improving yoga poses and for better general daily movement. She teaches with an understanding of how the poses can be done naturally and safely; and in a way that maximizes the benefits and minimizes the risks.
Kristen is by far one of the best yoga instructors I have experienced. Her kind, caring manner combined with her knowledge makes every yoga session a pleasure that carries throughout the rest of the day and beyond.
Just being with Robin gives you a feeling of peace and calmness. I have done both Reiki and yoga with Robin and had fantastic experiences. Her intuition and connection is unbelievable. I highly recommend her and have recommended her to family and friends.
It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for our Yoga Instructor at the YMCA, Cheryl Wolf. My first experience with Cheryl (as I was a complete novice to yoga) was that of warmth and immediate acceptance, no matter what level of practice (which for me, was at zero). She creates a nurturing, encouraging environment that allows everyone to grow at their own pace, in addition to inspiring each member to challenge themselves within their own practice. With the varying levels of expertise in the class, this effort could be daunting, but for Cheryl, it is comfortable and easy. I can truly say that no-one is left out, and everyone reaps the benefit of her instruction. Cheryl's teaching style is clear and meaningful, both in body and in spirit. Her well planned curriculum encompasses meditation, breathing, and yoga poses, where she is an active participant in all three. I have been to numerous other classes where this is not the case. In this way, Cheryl stands above all others and truly sets by example. Moreover, her message that yoga extends "off the mat" has been an inspiration to me personally and professionally. I am forever grateful for this powerful, profound message she has taught me, which is the true essence of yoga. I consider her a life mentor and an inspiration, and I give her my highest recommendation. Despina D.
I have a total focus on benefits and managing all risks. Yoga is more than a workout; it's a lifestyle. It works.
I had a chart reading from Allison and it was truly eye opening. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! I loved the fact that you made me feel extremely comfortable and let me be as open as possible. It truly was a life changing and I'm very grateful for your time. Would definitely recommend to others and would most likely go back for another :)
I have been practicing yoga with Megan Bradshaw for several years. What I like most about Megan is she listens to my concerns and knows my past injuries, so well it's as if they were her own. Megan has given me solid advice for managing my hip injury, a torn ligament in my wrist and hyperextension in my elbows and knees. Megan has also made herself available to me for nutrition advice. She even helped me discover my sensitivity to legumes! I highly recommend Megan for any yoga or nutrition advice.
The combination of Adam’s friendly and encouraging personality and knowledge of yoga and how the body works make for an awesome experience. Highly recommended for anyone with or without any prior experience with yoga — he will meet you where you are and work to challenge you in a positive, safe, and wholistic way.
