We were so unbelievably pleased with Cathleen and her assistants. She went above and beyond, and I can't imagine trying to get through the day without her. I did the planning of the wedding myself, but since I arranged all of the decorations and timing myself, I really needed someone to keep track of everything and to make sure my vision for our wedding was realized. Cathleen was exactly what we needed. She was an invaluable part of our wedding and I highly recommend her. Everything was above and beyond, and I was able to feel relaxed all day. Throughout the day she fixed a few minor hitches and kept all of the vendors on our schedule. Then, when we walked into our reception it was exactly as I had imagined. Beautiful! Then at the end of the night she packed everything up perfectly. I honestly could not be happier. I'm already thinking about other larger parties we might have where we could hire her again.

Gladys officiated our wedding with 6 days notice and it was everything we needed it to be! Gladys was more than excited to meet with us beforehand in our limited time to get to know us a bit before the wedding and learn about our relationship. When it came to the day of the wedding, Gladys was professional, warm, and made everyone feel welcome. We loved having a ceremony conducted in both Spanish and English, Gladys did a great job making both parts of the family feel included in the small beautiful ceremony we had. Justice Gladys is a one woman army. If you want you wedding day to be special look no more. When we requested her to offciate our wedding she helped us with the venue and the food, She even sat with us for to customize the ceremony according to our story. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Boston Event Diva's is! Do yourself a huge favor and hire them immediately! We used Boston Event Diva's for our flowers and coordination and are beyond thankful for everything Jennifer and Shannon did! From taking me to the flower market to look at flowers, to walking us through every hour and detail of our wedding day, showing us samples of arrangements and centerpieces, and calming our nerves when things got stressful, Jennifer and Shannon went above and beyond! They were there for every step in the planning process, offering insight and expertise - which made our day more amazing than we expected. I stumbled upon Boston Event Diva's while planning my wedding and I can honestly say that hiring Jen was the best and easiest decision I made throughout the planning process. She was so easy to work with, incredibly accommodating and made all of my visions & dreams come to life. While I only used her as my florist, I urge anyone needing a wedding day coordinator to hire Jen as well. The amount of time and effort that she put into the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and all the ceremony & reception arrangements leads me to believe that she puts her entire heart into her work... and you in return will have the most beautiful wedding from start to finish. John and his crew were wonderful at my wedding!! From the first conversation with John, he was professional and very responsive. Just through speaking to him I knew I wanted to hire him but once we had the first tasting I knew he was the best! The food was outstanding and he even made a little meal for my 2 year old son during our initial tasting as well! He is also very reasonably priced! Classique Impressions did a MARVELOUS job decorating for my sisters wedding. After a last minute fiasco from our former decorator, we had already given up the dreams of having an elegant and beautiful hall. But it was just unbelievable the quality of service we got. The linen was so beautiful! The ceiling draping, lighting,centerpieces, backdrop and sweetheart table made everyone go woah! The detailing was amazing! And to imagine that I paid less for a lot more that what others had charged is just unimaginable!  Yes! Yes! Yes! I will recommend Classique 100 times over and over again! Overall I was very happy with how Classique Impressions Decor stepped up to the plate 4 weeks before my wedding!!! We had some trouble with our previous decorator, but I was very impressed with Belle's flexibility and professional responses!!! She was very easy to work with and I am happy to have had them decorate my reception. The only downfall is I wish I would've been able to work with them sooner (no fault of theirs!!!) so that we REALLY could have made my wedding come to life even more than it did!!!! Overall they did a FANTASTIC job with the time they had and I would recommend them to anyone!!!

The experience with Julie Shepard from Manda & Me was 5 star PLUS... The professionalism, the preparation, the courtesy shown to me and my family upon the teams arrival to my home was extraordinary.. My kids just loved Julie's husband, he is a wonderful man... This event was for my wife's birthday, and having a birthday late in December is difficult on her, but Julie made it special with Champagne, flowers, A special "Gluten Free" dinner for her as she is gluten sensitive. We have told everyone about Manda & Me, we will be hosting a dinner party in January for no reason other than to get through the winter and be spoiled with Julie's amazing talents. My wife's parents are planning the same and will be asking Julie to come to their home. We never realized that our "new" favorite restaurant is our own home thanks to Manda & Me...Thanks Julie :)

These women are incredible! The event was challenging as it needed to be coordinated with a two musical acts and a Mystery Dinner Theater. Not only did they plan a FANTASTIC menu, accommodating my guests from across the globe (Singapore to the Netherlands); they also created an atmosphere that melded seamlessly with the event, right down to a selection of wonderful cocktails that embraced the theme of the evening. I am still getting e-mails from my global colleagues on how smashing (yes, UK was represented, too) the event was. They also delivered an exquisite luncheon, accommodating all the needs of my guests. They use nothing but the best ingredients and it shows in the quality and flavor of their signature dishes. So glad I hired Hostess for my wedding! I initially signed because of the low price relative to other options, and throughout our meetings it became more and more clear what a huge value the company provides. Donna was my main contact and was such a ray of sunshine! They both took away any worry I had about catering, decoration, really the "event" part of the wedding at all. The reception venue definitely needed some sprucing up, and Hostess catering came together as a pretty full-service party planner. They bought decorations based on my budget as well as using those I brought and decorated the venue so it looked amazing! They took a lot of moving pieces and made them into a very smooth event.

Planning a destination wedding in Newport, RI in 6 months while living hundreds of miles away, working full time, moving once cross-country, finding a new job, starting a new job, etc, etc, is no easy task, even with a wedding planner! With everything going on in my life, plus the short timeframe (the wedding date we selected was 6 months out from the day we secured the venue), and the fact that I am a perfectionist, I knew I was going to need help. I was lucky enough to come across SYB Event Planning while on Thumbtack. I interviewed a few companies and ended up selecting SYB because Soraya, the owner, and I really clicked while talking on the phone. While I wasn't necessarily looking for a cultural wedding, I knew she would understand some of the nuances with our families because my husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds. Soraya specializes in taking the time to understand different cultures and she goes out of her way to embed as much or as little as you want of you or your partner's culture into your wedding. I'm so glad I had Soraya for the entire wedding planning process and for the day of the wedding. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and totally exceeded my expectations (this is a perfectionist speaking...just for some perspective). I don't think that could have been possible without having Soraya helping along the way. She challenged me to think about things I would have never thought of and took care of all the details. She went above and beyond to make sure the wedding was as successful as it could be. She even drove over 90 miles each way to get us a cute favor that we really wanted for our guests...without hesitating! I didn't even ask her, but when she heard me talking about what I would like to do if the place was closer, she just jumped in and said she would take care of it. We had our reception in a beautiful hotel that included a planner, however, hired Soraya to help in addition because of the attention to detail and many decisions required during the wedding planning. I found Malone Catering on Thumbtack while assisting my son to find a caterer for his wedding. When I first saw the menus and prices I really thought I had to be misunderstanding, His prices are so reasonable that I could not believe he was in any way related to other wedding caterers. It seems that all wedding services have a 4X markup and we really needed to stay within a very frugal budget. I called Chef Marty and found him to be very easy to work with and very accommodating and I sent his info to my son immediately. The wedding last Sunday at Camp Kiwanee was beautiful and the guests raved about the delicious food. We had requested a buffet style and Marty and his staff did the serving. Absolutely wonderful. And I cannot say enough about his staff. They were so unobtrusive I never noticed them clearing after dinner but they did an incredible job. And every one of them was friendly and helpful and seemed happy to be there. I know my son and is new wife were extremely pleased with Malone Catering. We will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality caterer at a reasonable price.

I can't say enough of what Malone catering delivered. He handled my wedding in a way that provided zero worry for myself and my bride to be. He worked within our budget but didn't sacrifice quality. He was available for questions, however trivial they may have been, and always responded promptly. And most importantly, the quality of the food, was superb. He and his staff executed the night perfectly. From the food quality, to the staff he put in place, Malone catering delivered on every level. It was 5 star service and food on a working man's budget. Working with Victoria and her team was absolutely wonderful! I hired her as my day-of coordinator for my wedding on 11/11/17, but she was so much more than that! From the moment I hired her back in April, she provided me with tips and guidance all the way to my wedding day. She was available for calls, texts, and emails, and answered every little wedding detail, décor, and etiquette question that came into my mind. She calmed me down when I was super stressed out and helped me put things in perspective. She was super professional throughout the whole experience, and extremely organized and on top of things. She came with me to tour my venue, and communicated details with my vendors for me. When we had problems with the tuxes last minute, she stepped in and advocated for us and helped make sure everything got corrected. She might sound sweet (and she is!), but she can stand up for you and get it done when needed! And when the wedding weekend came around and I changed things last minute, she didn’t even flinch as she jumped on my new (and improved, of course!) ideas. I felt very comfortable handing over my “wedding day vision” to her with full faith that she would execute everything beautifully, and she did! She was awesome at “herding the cats” at our rehearsal. Victoria and her team decorated the last-minute change in ceremony space, and the giant barn for the reception. I don’t know if anything went wrong behind the scenes, but if it did, I had no idea because she took care of everything! My venue was super DIY and I had to bring in all the different vendors, so Victoria had to manage all of them. She coordinated with all the vendors and from my point of view, everything flowed seamlessly! When my new husband and I went off to take photos, one of them came with us just to make sure everything went smoothly and so we could always be in contact the rest of the team back at the venue. I felt like a celebrity with my posse behind me to take care of all the details. They brought us hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we fulfilled various wedding day responsibilities and traditions, fixed our attire when things got out of place, and truly just waited on us hand and foot! Everyone was extremely professional and I truly felt like a princess in their very capable hands. I didn’t have to worry or even think about anything the day of the wedding, and I just let Victoria and her team usher us around, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. I truly cannot recommend Everlasting Affairs highly enough. They were amazing; my day was perfect, and I could not have done it without them!

Everything was picture perfect for our baby shower on June 4, 2017! Valerie listened to what we wanted, she made suggestions, and she brought it to life 10 times over on the day of the baby shower. Everyone was blown away! The consensus was "that this is the prettiest baby shower that anyone had been to, as a matter of fact, it was the prettiest SHOWER that anyone had been to". Yvonne and her assistant, Cally, were wonderful to work with as day-of coordinators for our May 2017 wedding. Everyone kept telling me I was SO RELAXED for it being my wedding day - I can honestly say this is not because I’m a super-chill person usually, but because Yvonne and Cally were taking care of all of the things I would have normally been freaking out about. They went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and taken care of on our day. We first spoke over the phone, and then met over drinks once, skyped once, and took a visit to our venue a month or two before the wedding. Yvonne is obviously very experienced, and she was able to quickly understand the vision and vibe of our wedding. My husband and I did most of the planning ourselves, but they were able to make sure we didn’t overlook any important details, as well as offer a few suggestions that we would never have thought to even consider. It made us feel so good to know we were in good hands. By the day of the rehearsal, we completely handed over the rest of communication/coordination with vendors. For those two days, we didn’t have to think logistics at ALL. We were able to fully enjoy the wedding festivities. The best part was that their behind-the-scenes work was quiet and efficient - they didn’t make it all about them or even make their presence known very much. And yet, there were so many little things they were attending to all day long. Without them, I would have been running around frazzled and not at all relaxed. Everything ran smoothly, we stayed on schedule, and any small issues were troubleshooted without us being interrupted. Hiring Unique Melody for our day-of coordination was BY FAR the most important decision we made for our wedding. Don’t try to do it all on your own!!

There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Thank you Kelly for everything that you did and all the things I don't know about, you were truly one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning!

I received a lot more food than I thought. It was perfect, because I didn't know how many people were going to show up to this event. I was very happy with the surprise fruit salad. I heard a lot of compliments from guests on your potato salad, one quote was "Your potato salad is the *edited* BOMB!" Then I got "Hot damn this chicken falls off the bone, that's when you know it's good!" No, Michelle, I didn't take credit. :) I did tell loads of people who had catered the event. :) Thank you...very much.

Gathered Table catered a wedding in my home of 30 adults and some kids. Mary was wonderful to work with - they accommodated a very short timeline and she was wonderful about the menu and allowing me plenty of time for modifications and changes. She was laid back and relaxed, which helped ease my anxiety. The group was half Brazilian and half American, so they also made both Brazilian and American specialties. The food was awesome! They were extremely reliable and showed up with the right number of staff members to service the crowd well. The only negative was that we asked for leftover food to be left with us since we paid for it, but my guests saw them leaving with a lot of the food they brought in. Perhaps we ate most of the food and didn't really have leftovers, however this was not communicated with me or with my sister, who was communicating directly with them when I was not able to. My only suggestion would be to clarify this upfront. Late night when there were only 10 of us left having fun, we would have loved to dig in for more food!

I need someone to organize the day and help it run smoothly. I have done all of the planning and ordering already. 60 guests, outdoor wedding with tent, semi-casual wedding. Ceremony starts at 5:45 pm followed by dinner, dancing, dj, etc. Looking to relax and not micromanage the day as the bride. I don't know what time the planner should start or how many hours.
