Me and my fiance were beginning dancers who wanted to work on our first dance at our wedding. From the beginning, Gonzalo was open to how many lessons we wanted to do and what kind of dance moves we felt comfortable with. He was very flexible with us for timing and always organized. Glad that we worked with him.

I was pessimistic about this going in because I have not enjoyed dance lessons before this. Alina is outstanding and super easy to work with. My wife and I had a great experience with her and we are now the best dancers in the world.

The brilliance of Judicita as a wedding choreographer and dance teacher is best conveyed by my husband, Andrew: I am a man who is terrified of dancing. In six weeks, Judicita took my dancing from "baby giraffe immediately after birth" to, as our wedding guests commented, "surprisingly not terrible" and "actually kind of really impressive." I did not want to jump out of a window at any point in the teaching process. Judicita was professional, empathetic, and effective both as a teacher and a choreographer. I am extremely happy with the services she provided and would recommend her in a heartbeat. I proposed to a woman of Puerto Rican/Peruvian background. She lives to dance. I was informed, lovingly and with zero wiggle room, that our first dance at the wedding would involve me doing salsa. Growing up, the blackest nightmares I ever had involved me trying and failing to dancing in front of all of my friends and family. So, choking down the terror, my then-fiancée and I contracted with Judicita to teach us (i.e. me) a choreographed 3-4 minute salsa dance. Judicita is--and I cannot stress this enough--extremely good a teaching. She has all of the normal, fundamental dance instructor skills: she's a talented dancer herself, she's very good at motion analysis and mechanics, and she's able to define and adjust choreography on the fly. But where she truly excels is her raw ability to teach. Rather than the familiar and irritating "Do this. No, like this. Point your toe more. No, like THIS. Watch me AGAIN" style of fussy instruction you get at many salsa rooms, Judicita is genuinely and patiently focused on teaching you to move. "That was great!" says Judicita with what feels like genuine excitement. "If you hold your chin a little higher the spin will be tighter, but you've really got the basic motion down!". She continually explained the "why" behind the motions, and let us learn at our own pace without getting hung up on perfection. We learned exactly what we needed for our dance. More importantly, I didn't feel like I was going to throw up from stress during lessons. I could list out many other positives: her quick and precise decisions on choreography--always listening closely to what we liked and didn't like; her flexibility in dealing with our schedule; her constant positivity and professionalism. In the end, we successfully pulled of an amazing first dance that was exactly what my bride wanted. Was I actually a born dancer? An unpolished diamond in the rough whose amazing skills were simply waiting to be discovered? A modern-day Patrick Swayze, if you will? This is what I'll keep telling myself. But the truth is, the only reason I walked out onto the floor excited, confident, and prepared, instead of nauseous and terrified, is because Judicita guided me there every step of the way. She should be teaching movie stars and professional competition dancers, instead of awkward dudes hoping to impress their partners. But thank God she does.

Razilee is a beautiful, amazing dancer and she is very intelligent. One expects that she would be sensual and exotic. I really enjoyed her style of bellydancing, her costume, makeup, jewelry, her smile and how she talks about the art of bellydancing. She is a great teacher. I had a party in my home. First she danced two numbers and then she gave a lesson and it was very easy to follow. Everyone had a wonderful time. I would recommend her very highly.

My fiancé and I have taken both group and individual classes as a way to prepare for our Wedding. Lee is a knowledgable instructor, teaching a variety of dances . Neither of us are particularly "good" dancers, but Lee has been very patient and encouraging throughout the entire process. He invests a lot of time and energy into his students' success and makes it a fun experience for all! I would highly recommend Beginning Ballroom to any couple or individual!

I've seen other belly dancers; and she has been the best one. Other belly dancers seem to all be similar; but not her. Her dancing is unique and beautiful. It seems like her dancing comes from within. She involves the audience and they happily participate. She is awesome!

I entered Crown dance studio in August, 2015. Since then, can not stop coming there to have group classes, private lessons and just seeing friends. The studio itself is very nice, big and light. Abraham is high professional teacher and dedicated, enthusiastic dancer. I highly recommend this studio for all levels dancers and for those who just planning to begin this journey.

Ninakshi Dance studio is run by a young, energetic dance instructor, Nina. She is full of positive energy and has the right motivationt to teach anyone how to do a Bollywood dance. She takes the time to break down every single step so it honestly doesn't matter your experience level. She is great with young students as well as older, there is no skill requirement, or age limit! She endorses a team spirit and instills in each of her students the ability to master the dance skill. The studio itself is well kept and a great location in Silver Spring, MD! Very close to many shopping centers and is easily accessible. I have seen many of Ninakshi's performances and they are all exciting and full of energy; from their dance steps and tricks, to their costumes and props, Ninakshi dance studio definitely puts on a show!

I hired Elena to dance at my 60th Birthday Party and was amazed not only by her dancing, but also by her detailed costume, flawless hair and makeup and winsome personality. As she floated about the room, her dance mimicked the rhythm of the music and mesmerized all. I have been a fan of belly dance for many, many years and dreamed of having a fabulous belly dancer at my fabulous party. Elena exceeded all my expectations. She is technically flawless and personally charming. Her passion for the dance is infectious. Her personality captivates and entertains all. You and your guests will be thoroughly entertained and impressed by Elena’s moves. If you get the chance, hire Elena for an event you and your guests will never forget! The fine print: Elena is a total professional, can be counted on to respond during planning and will be punctual for your event. She should charge more!
