"Mrs. Starks is an outstanding piano teacher! My son started lessons with her over two years ago. She is dedicated, organized, and patient; but yet firm enough to handle my "strong and sometimes impatient" 9 year old. He likes to do things his way, yet she keeps him focused and growing. She is extremely gifted and holds his attention weekly, which led us to increase his class time to one hour. I am grateful for the record of weekly assignments that enable the parents and students to keep on track and review challenging pieces. She allows my son to pick out his personal"passionate" pieces and diligently teaches him to play them whether its been in school or church recitals. She is the best piano teacher this side of the east coast. I highly recommend her you won't be disappointed. Doris B."

"Mr. Walls is an enthusiastic and patient teacher. As a choir member at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton for the past fifteen years, I have been able to sing liturgical music, and participate with other choirs in singing more complex pieces of music, such as requiems and compositions for rites of the church and special occasions. Our choir has sung in various languages, and joined other choirs in ecumenical choir fests. Mr. Walls has studied music composition, conducting, and history, and is an accomplished musician on several instruments, including the piano, organ, and guitar. He has several years teaching experience in the U.S. and abroad. I would say Mr. Walls' expertise and talent are second to none. "

"A friend's granddaughter told me about Jason Free with owner of SoundSmith Music Center. I decided to try to set up lessons with him. I have been a guitar student with Jason for three and a half years. My playing has definitely improved. He is generous with his time. The location of the store is convenient and the rates for lessons are reasonable. My lessons are structured to help me improve but we also play songs that I have worked on and Jason will help me overcome any problems I may have with the song. My granddaughter got a guitar for Christmas and I recommended my daughter contact SoundSmith Music Center for lessons. Sophie is now a student at SoundSmith Music Center. I would definitely recommend SouthSmith Music Center to friends and family."

"Ms. Tress is exactly what I was looking for. I loved every minute of my hour and can't wait to continue. I've been playing (badly) for years and I learned a ton! She was perceptive enough to know I needed to go back to the basics, and that's exactly what I needed. I've never much cared for Mondays, but now it's my favorite day!"

"It's been a while since Daniel start teaching me piano. He is great! He is professional and very knowledgeable. He is passion about what he is doing. Daniel does not just give me some theory and show basics, but really teach to hear music and play it. It's amazing that he follows student's speed. He knows when to slow down and when to speed up when to add more detail and when to repeat twice. It gives much more progress than just following lessons in a book one-by-one. I like his teaching style. Daniel always gives me honest feedback what was great and what could be improved and always helps me to develop and improve. I also appreciate that he is flexible about a schedule and is able to teach on weekends and holidays."

"Max Kuzmyak is a very knowledgeable musician with a large skill set that is useful in the music industry. He can teach trumpet, guitar, voice, and has extensive theory knowledge as well. He is also well versed in recording and audio engineering. Max is very friendly, easy to work with, and professional. I would highly recommend working with him if you are looking for a private teacher, or a recorder."
