We had our upright piano moved to our new home in the city. The actual move went well. The movers were very speedy, and the piano arrived in excellent condition. I was concerned that the movers didn't appear to have any special piano moving equipment, and my piano wasn't covered until it was on th truck. The price I was quoted was very low compared to other piano movers (and even compared to movers who didn't necessarily specialize in pianos). I was somewhat frustrated by a lack of communication on the move day. I was given a two hour pick-up window and was told I would receive a call when they were about an hour away. That call never came; thankfully I pulled up to the old house just as the truck was backing in. Once the piano was loaded, I had to run up to the window of the truck to find out how long it would be before the drop-off. Otherwise, the move went as expected. I would use this vendor again because of the conpetitive price.

Lewis Piano Movers were amazing. They were VERY responsive, punctual, careful, friendly, and smart with placement. Pricing was extremely reasonable too. I would use them again if I needed to. I highly recommend. As with any piano, I suggest caster cups for under the piano leg to protect the floor. They have some to sell but they'll be way more expensive. You can get these on Amazon. They quoted a fair price to move a spinet piano from the seller's house to mine. The seller required the piano to be moved on a specific day, and Lewis was able to accommodate. They were to call me the day before and give me a two-hour window. The call never came. After multiple messages on this platform and at least three phone calls, there was no answer. Even after I told them I would no longer require their services, still no response.

My sister and I took off today for the piano to be moved from one house to another. The owner asked me to send an email to confirm. I did. He confirmed also. I called him five minutes before the end of the time he was due and he got my job mixed up with someone else's job. He said he had another customer yesterday with my first name. I don't care if all of his customers this month have the same first name. He should be organized enough to cover all requests. He's disorganized now I am screwed. Call him at your own risk.
