About

Alyssa is a great instructor because she gives me a biological understanding of the mechanics of my voice. Where other instructors rely on cheesy nonsense ("sing more from your heart!"), she explains to me what is actually happening in my body and trains me on how to control it. It is requires hard work, but the payoff is there. Each month I hear significant improvement in my voice and my friends do to. In less than a year I've gone from being a shy singer, to a comfortable performer.

Dr. Stevens is the only voice teacher that I know of that puts time and effort into her students! She knows the best way to sing different genres of music, all of her students sound wonderful and she is very good with students that have slight vocal health issues. She is very patient and works with all ages!

I took voice lessons from Diane and specifically wanted to specialize in jazz. I learned techniques from her that no one had ever taught me that have helped me be a better vocalist with more projection and power. Diane is amazing at what age does and she knows what she's doing! I'm grateful for my time with her when she and I were in Los Angeles!

About

All Things Are Possible, LLC, better known as ATAP, is not a performing arts academy, is not a school and is not a talent agency. ATAP is a unique combination of all of these elements. ATAP allows you, the performer, to not just gain training but if desired, to be sent out on auditions. ATAP believes performers need to hone their craft or talent, so they can be continually exposed to audition opportunities. We prepare the performer to attend auditions for Broadway, national touring companies, commercials, TV, film, and print media. ATAP clients are now working on Broadway, television, film, commercials and print media. Our performers are often invited to audition in various mediums, including acting and singing. These performers will also have learning opportunities throughout the year with seminars and outside workshops. ATAP hosts several workshops throughout the year. These workshops are usually held on one day over a weekend, and participation is optional. ATAP will bring in guest speakers within the various genres of the entertainment industry. Workshops are designed to keep our performers motivated, enthused, and well-informed. ATAP offers private and group vocal, acting and piano lessons, instruction in modeling, pageant preparation, voice-overs, audition preparation for Art Schools/Magnet Schools and Broadway, television, film, and commercials. ATAP also develops emerging singing groups.

I've been a student of Charles' since the end of 2015 and can with certainty say that he gets results. Most of his exercises and homework (and boy does he give you the good work to do) is slightly off the beaten path but the results are undeniable (if you do the work). I've been singing most of my life and taking lessons and my biggest issue has been tense 'squeeky' vocals and fear of the high notes. My voice is thin but I'm a contralto and this has often been miss understood by other vocal coaches. Charles has not only helped me overcome my timidity associated with my voice but has me reaching, singing 'big' vocals like Jill Scott and Lala Hathaway. On a personality level he is fun to work with and will mold his coaching technique to your personal needs. He's highly responsive to the needs of his students and spends time out of the lessons going through the homework and giving advice all days of the week. If you are looking to truly improve your vocals, are wiling to put in the work and have a coach that cares a bout your voice then Charles is for you.

About

I am taking voice lessons with Belinda. I am 56 years old and have recently joined a Sweet Adeline singing group (barbershop style.) I love to sing but had no knowledge of proper technique and found I was getting hoarse. Belinda is helping me tremendously. She is extremely talented and versatile and is a wonderful teacher. I do this for fun, and Belinda respects my goals and works with me toward what I want to accomplish. But she is an accomplished opera singer and would be just as capable working with someone with more professional aspirations.

This is my first time taking voice lessons, and Molly has been nothing but patient and supportive. She has an amazing knack for explaining musical concepts and for helping me to learn more about my voice and range. I feel I have progressed so much in such a short time. She couldn't be a better coach!

About

My daughter was invited to attend kid Stage when she met the owner during a symposium. My daughter enjoyed the weekend acting classes and also started voice training. Her confidence went through the roof and her desire to act skyrocketed. I was so pleased with KS that I sent my daughter and my son back for summer camp at KS. My son, who was normally a quiet kid actually landed a speaking role when he auditioned with his sister for and independent feature film. The KS staff offered a friendly, nurturing environment and studied age appropriate materials that prepared my children for auditions and gave them the skills they needed for the competitive acting field.

The first time I heard Deletta sing, I was so blown away by both her vocal and performance ability that I decided to take vocal lessons from her myself. Her teaching style is warm, personal and professional, with a generous helping of positivity and encouragement. She easily conveys concepts that were previously difficult for me to grasp and tailors her lesson to the individual's level of experience and knowledge. Watching her perform and listening to the ease with which she finds her notes and connects with both her band and the audience is like a master class for me as aspiring vocalist and performer myself. She is a pleasure to study with and a joy to listen to.
