Going Yogue is great! Guarav walked me through the movements and what to expect, as it was my first yoga experience. Because he is so passionate about meditation and yoga, Guarav goes above and beyond to provide potential solutions to personal concerns. And overall, he is just a very positive person!
I have taken Gentle Yoga with Asya at Sun & Moon for years. When I heard that she was offering a more personalized therapeutic class, I jumped at the chance to address my particular problems -- back issues, bad knee, Morton's neuroma in my toes -- all things that made some yoga poses very challenging for me. It was wonderful to have her focus on my issues, and she helped me develop a personal practice to work on these things. Her gentle and encouraging voice, strong knowledge of anatomy, and inventive teaching style made it pleasurable as well as useful.
Corey has done great adjusting to my schedule, my goals, and the types of workouts I want (kettlebell, body weight, yoga, and stretching).
Gretchen is my yoga instructor who comes to the house. She comes once a week for an hour, and the sessions are on-going. I engaged Gretchen when my sciatica was at its worst, and I couldn't put on my socks. She has helped amazingly well with increasing my mobility. The best aspect is her flexibilty in schedule and knowledge to tailor the session to my current health situation. I cannot think of anything Gretch could improve. She already provides the yoga equipment I don't have and already is knowledgable how yoga can help (or willing to research if she does not know). I considert Gretchen to be an excellent teacher and an excellent resource for anyone who wants or needs at home yoga instruction.
Hillary is an excellent teacher! She is effusive, qualified and fun. She manages to put planks in perspective with personal anecdotes and genuine humor. Her style is a hybrid of barre, yoga, and Pilates. Class is always interesting and HARD. A million thumbs up!
Welcome to your Wellness has an excellent atmosphere. As a beginner you will not feel intimidated at all. The instructor is very friendly has a very nourishing attitude. And the one thing that I love she has a soothing voice that will put your mind at ease. Highly recommend Welcome to your Wellness yoga anyone!!
This evening I took Natasha's yoga class at LaFitness. This was my first time in her class of which I was impressed. She knew her moves and poses and gave good instruction. Will be attending her class.
I work in an office environment and after years of having such a sedentary lifestyle I think yoga with Dagmara was just what the doctor ordered. She is professional and worked at my pace and provided positive support and patience with my inflexibility. Already after a few sessions I have a greater range of motion and feel calmer. Thank you Dagmara!
Nicole is amazing. Her credentials say she is a certified fitness trainer and yoga instructor, and she is every bit of that. She is a master of her crafts. But she is way more. She is a coach, confidant, motivator, and most of all, a gifted healer. As a physician, I know a healer when I encounter one. I feel so blessed to have invited Nicole to help me with my journey. After just a few weeks of being tortured by Nicole (nobody says health and fitness are easy) I am in my best shape in years. If I learn some of her amazing communication and motivational skills, she may make me a better doctor as well.
My massage was wonderful. I look forward to seeing him in the future
great massage, friendly nice and sweet
Christine is awesome! Exactly as advertised. She has a wonderful energy. Able to do guided meditation as well as yoga and breathing exercises.
Selene's yoga session was great. I felt like I learned so much just from one session about how to do each pose correctly and how to modify poses in a beneficial way when you're not totally there yet. Selene's vibe is accepting, warm and encouraging & I didn't feel pressured to do everything perfectly. At the end of our session I felt rejuvinated in mind, body & spirit. Highly recommend!!
I've been a happy customer of Sonja Boggs since 2014. I'm a burn survivor and have really appreciated the rehabilitative powers of yoga long after my burn scars have healed. Now I keep going to Sonja because it keeps me more limber and feeling better all around, especially Sunday nights after her class. Sonja's yoga style is perfect for beginners through advanced and she reads pleasant proverbs and such during your 3 to 5 minute stretches to further your appreciation of being good to your body and soul. She now teaches in Purcerville and I drive 30 minutes from Ashburn for her Sunday 4:15 class because it is one of the highlights of my week.
Two years ago I started treatment with Martha for anxiety/depression issues and a life that felt too constricted. During this time Ive been able to stay off medication and to try dance and yoga classes that have been a joy. Beyond this, I have gained an understanding of Five Element theory that has guided my approach to each season. Martha is a compassionate and intuitive healer who uses acupuncture but also herbs, stones, and real listening with patients who heal and grow due to her care.

I offer traditional hatha yoga. The practice is quite different than how modern, western yoga style are practiced. Each asana and its philosophy should be logically coordinated. As I learn yoga, I know only two: Patanjali's Asthanga yoga and hatha yoga, but it is quite different than other patented yogas.
I am a Maryland based yoga teacher and soccer trainer. After playing Division I soccer for four years at the University of Alabama, I turned to yoga to find a home off the field. On the mat, I discovered that yoga could help me link together all parts of me: mind, body, and heart. I have experience with all ages as I have been coaching college soccer for the past four years and have my Master's degree in Gerontology; three years experience working with older adults. My goal is to help my students meet their goals and cultivate an awareness of their own greatness.
We, at Anjali Online Yoga Studio, provide one-on-one interactive yoga lessons. Our instructor is a yoga expert from India, the land from where it all began thousands of years ago. He conducts private lessons one-on-one exclusively for each student from his own studio in Bangalore, India. Concept and practice of yoga originated in India several thousand years ago by great saints and sages. As time went by, it has taken its place in everyday life, and has aroused worldwide awakening and acceptance in the last few decades. Modern health science has realized its role in the prevention and management of various health disorders both by itself, as well as a complement to conventional treatment. Although many online tools and recorded class instructions are available to download, there is nothing as effective and satisfying as one-on-one, interactive sessions. It is to fill this lacuna that we launched an online yoga studio to enable one-on-one, instructor-supervised online learning from any remote location in the world. We have designed the general fitness yoga for normal fit people to maintain and improve their current fitness level and to enhance performance and confidence. The details of this fitness program is available in the class curriculum section. Before actually accepting a prospective student for this program, we ask the student to fill out a background information questionnaire on our website and make it point to review this background information to make sure that the person is indeed healthy enough to perform the exercises. Please fill out the form on our Website to get a free trial session.
