My daughter has been taking private flute lessons with Angela over Skype for almost two years. Angela is very knowledgeable and has a supportive instructional style; she is always very positive and encouraging, as well as flexible and punctual. My daughter has progressed wonderfully under Angela's tutelage. The flexibility Skype affords us is ideal and we have had minimal issues with the technology. If you are looking for private music lessons, you can’t go wrong with Angela!

My son, Ian, is having a wonderful experience being taught flute by Laura Kaufman. She brings the best combination of playfulness and seriousness to the lessons. She always has new approaches - and sometimes useful gadgets - to get her message about good embouchure and breathing across. She is encouraging and supportive. I recommend her highly!

I have studied flute with Ms. Allen since 2010. She is a great flutist and an excellent flute teacher. I am working toward going to graduate school in flute performance and through following her guidance, she has helped me to greatly improve my performance skills as well as my knowledge of flute repertoire, music theory and music history in every way. I cannot thank her enough for her help. Eric L.

Amanda is an outstanding teacher. She inspires and challenges me to play pieces I did not think I could play. She is able to take difficult passages and break them down step by step so I can learn how to play them properly. I am sure I would not be playing as I am now, if it weren’t for Amanda’s skilled teaching. She is also friendly, makes the lessons interesting and fun and is very professional.

Most of my students pursue music lessons for to increase their eligibility and scholarships to music programs in college. Other students learn simply for the enjoyment of music. However, all of my students receive training in music theory and ear training too. For those students who are interested, I also offer them opportunities to explore entrepreneurship as a musician.
