Yulia has such an amazing voice!! Great teacher, awesome classes and even better results! Very professional! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
My daughter is taking voice lessons from Jenni McGinnis. She has not only helped with my daughter's singing, but has helped her gain confidence in performing in front of people, and has helped her with auditions.
My daughter has been getting voice lessons for about a year and the improvement is astounding with the assistance of Mr. Douglass. We've been so happy with the results that we increased her weekly 1/2 hr sessions to a full hour. He always provides a full hour of content and it is noticeable from each lesson to the next. Not only has her voice and projection improved, more importantly, she's become much more confident. He highly recommend his teaching and routinely recommend him to friends and family.
Damon is a wonderful instructor and mentor for my daughter. He has been giving her guitar and voice lessons for a year now and is helping her to record some of her songs. He is a wonderfully talented musician and equally important, he is caring, supportive, and makes the experience fun and worthwhile. The office staff is always friendly and supportive and will flexibly work with a student when scheduling conflicts arise. I wholeheartedly recommend.
I've been taking vocal lessons with Karen through Skype, and despite the distance (Silver Spring US- Mumbai), it has been devoid of disturbances and quite enjoyable. After evaluating my voice and musical tastes, she has helped me improve my vocal tone and power in a surprisingly short time. She has been very helpful, evaluating the recordings i send her by mail. Would highly recommend her as a teacher. Thanks! :)
My teenage daughter's first private vocal lesson experience with Mrs. O'Donnell has been outstanding! She truly understands how to work with and bring out the best in young people! She has fostered my daughter's love of song in a very positive direction and has helped her self esteem and confidence at the same time!
Our daughter, 13, has been taking voice lessons with Keely for almost a year, and has had a terrific experience. Keely has taken the time to get to know our daughter, her strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, and she makes effective use of the lesson time, finding music our daughter enjoys (musical theater), as well as challenging her with music she might not otherwise have been exposed to. Keely is very encouraging, abounding in patience, and a lot of fun to work with. Our daughter loves her lessons!
My daughter has been taking private flute lessons with Angela over Skype for almost two years. Angela is very knowledgeable and has a supportive instructional style; she is always very positive and encouraging, as well as flexible and punctual. My daughter has progressed wonderfully under Angela's tutelage. The flexibility Skype affords us is ideal and we have had minimal issues with the technology. If you are looking for private music lessons, you cant go wrong with Angela!
This place has been great since it opened. My daughter takes Guitar lessons at the new shop and really likes her teacher. The facility is nice, clean and small and makes for a very comfortable environment while waiting for the lesson to be completed. As a bonus, when a teacher is sick they are very good at pulling talented and skilled substitutes which has not been our experience at other lessons. My daughter is learning fast and loving the experience.
I went to Sarah for help in honing my singing and sightreading skills in preparation for an audition. I spent six weeks having lessons with her. From day one, she knew how to determine what I needed to work on and came up with a gameplan for me. She was always prepared for my lessons and extremely supportive along the way. By the end, I was able to do things I would never had been able to without Sarah's help, was much more confident in my signing and sightreading skills, and knew how to continue preparing for my audition on my own. She used techniques I had not used in other voice lessons which were very effective for me and my voice. I would recommend Sarah for any experience level and any singing-related need.
Robert taught my teenage son vocal lessons at a time his voice was changing- not an easy feat. He focused on head voice and ways to stretch his range without damaging his vocal chords. He even made house calls when we asked for drop-in vocal assistance before a big audition- what a nice guy! Always on time (even early!) and we definitely felt we got our money's worth. Robert maximized every minute he was teaching.
I started taking private voice lessons and workshops with Stephanie a little more than a year ago. I came to her as an adult with almost no singing experience and only a little music experience. Stephanie proved very patient, dedicated and worked with me to create practice routines to develop safe singing habits. After each week, we refined the routines and she identified trouble spots. Even though I was a beginner, she was able to use to her expert knowledge of the mechanics of voice to carefully explain why we were doing each activity. With practice and lessons, we've made great strides. The quality of my singing and my confidence in performing are radically improved. Stephanie offers an amazing voice program that I highly recommend.
Ms. O'Neill has been my son's voice coach for the last 2 years. She has done an amazing job at not only helping him to improve his singing but also to gain confidence. She has a very positive attitude and obviously enjoys working with kids. Her insight and feedback has made a world of difference for my son and I highly recommend her!
Yazid, definitely, knows what he is doing! He is an excellent teacher! Personally, he is very flexible and easy going. On professional level, he is pushing you to get better and as perfect as you can, in very positive and non judgmental manner. He puts emphasis on learning basic voice technics right from the start so the student does not sink into bad singing habits. He is patient with you, and capable to pick up on your mistakes in order to correct all imperfections. You gotta do it right to pass to the next level! First couple of times when my 10 years old daughter had her lesson, she was so extremly shy! She was so fidgety , just playing with her hair... Yazid put her at ease, get her relaxed, thought her how to assume the right posture, joke with her, demonstrated voice exercises and explained everything at her level of understanding. He has been able to keep her entertained while teaching difficult technics of opening her voice and getting her to work towards finding her own interpretation instead of just "singing along" or copying other singers. After seeing how capable he was while teaching my daughter, I decided to join her and started taking voice lessons with Yazid myself. Five stars for Yazid! I strongly recommend him!
Isaac was a fantastic teacher!! I’ve been taking lessons from different teachers for years. He is by far, the best music instructor!! I ended up liking my voice lessons so much, that I took piano as well. It’s really rare to find a teacher that can do more the one instrument, and even rarer to find one who can do it that well. I ended up staying with him for 5 years until he left. He gets my highest recommendation! -Ana
Emma is an excellent voice teacher! My daughter adores working with her - her voice lesson is the highlight of her week. Emma focuses on many aspects of singing and performance and works with her students in a very focused way. My daughter is learning a tremendous amount from her. And they have a ton of fun! I highly recommend her.
We have been to a couple of voice classes with Mrs. HELEN. I love that she has been really helpful helping my daughter feel comfortable so she is not shy getting her voice out. She has been explaining everything and making the class fun at the same time.
Dr. Lynn is very attentive to her students. She assigns challenging pieces and helps her students find the best way to perform them by stressing technique. One of the best things about her studio is that she is a good pianist as well. This allow her to not only accompany the pieces her students sing but allows her to create new exercises for her students based on their needs. The atmosphere of her studio is very friendly and her studio as a whole works together to be the best singing-actors they can be.
Hello, my name is Jonathan Cole, but you can just call me Jon Cole. I am currently a music education major at Alderson Broaddus University with a focus in voice and piano. I have been taking lessons in both arts for 10 years. I am qualified to teach at a beginner and intermediate level and even advanced in most cases. I would love to teach you or your child, and I certainly don't charge much. Thank you so much for checking out my profile!
I am a trained opera singer with experience in a variety of styles. I find that a basis in classical singing technique provides a good foundation for learning all styles of singing. I am motivated to help my customers get the vocal sound that they want while maintaining vocal health!
