Working out at BBJ is like being part of a family. They provide a wide variety of classes with great instructors. They also offer personal training. I have been training with Pam since last April and am extremely happy with the results. She is professional, encouraging and gets the most out of me each and every session. I would highly recommend personal training, as well as group fitness classes at BBJ.
Cayce is a loving heart who shares yoga in a beautiful and healing way. Her verbal instruction is well-crafted, and her touch and adjustments are so relaxing and helpful- I find myself melting and coming away from her class like I've just gotten a massage and worked out at the same time. I have been teaching kid's yoga with Cayce for over a year, and have seen her innate teaching talent expand to a grounding, healing adult teaching practice. Her classes are individualized and provide what you are seeking on that particular day. I so highly recommend receiving the loving joy of yoga from Cayce's classes.
Awesome gym, excellent classes & amazing trainers!! Best boot camps in Maine!
I had a great experience with Samantha doing private yoga/pilates sessions. I was just sad she moved back to Boston so we couldn't continue.
I have taken what I have learned from many teachers and many styles... And what was born was "Eliza" yoga. My sessions are unique and vary. I'm very intuitive, sensing what my clients needs are.
I’ve been going to Ashley’s yoga classes at Maine Hatha Yoga for several years. She always presents herself professionally. Her teaching is clear and concise. She is detailed and gives cues when alignment needs adjusting. I highly recommend her yoga classes to anyone.
Practicing Yoga with Growing Yogis has been a great experience for my children and myself. I would recommend Growing Yogis to parents that want their child to join an activity that is fun, flexible and cost effective, but is not a major commitment like regular sports activities (it's only once a week!). I would also recommend Growing Yogis to any adult who is interested in an activity that is good for your mind, body and spirits.
Courtney was very informative and knowledgeable. I'm used to taking bikram yoga so this was nice to try something different. Afterwards I was completely relaxed and slept really well without waking up too sore which is a common occurrence for me due to tightness in certain areas.
I have been a student of Mama Love Yoga since I began my Yoga practice. Sara has a great energy. Her classes are physically demanding while also being incredibly relaxing at the same time. It is a balance I have not found with many other Yoga classes.
I teach Hatha based yoga from beginner to advanced in your home or at my studio space in Freeport. I provide a safe, fun environment to explore the gifts yoga has to offer.
I'm Jessica Turcotte, RYT 200. I am a vinyasa flow yoga teacher, offering three levels of classes: slow flow, yoga flow, and energizing flow. Also, I offer small group and private sessions. Like 'YOGA with Jess in Monmouth' for class times and pricing.
I have a wide range of education in movement and the healing arts, and I have worked with clients across a broad spectrum. Each of us needs special attention and care, two things I greatly enjoy providing.
Yoga is made fun at Holistic Pathways. It's a great community!
Connect to your inner happy yogi through private instruction and group classes. Learn invigorating, empowering vinyasa flow and stretch your limits!
I have worked with many people with injuries and chronic illness. I personally have dealt with chronic back pain/sciatica as well as chronic lyme disease so it has become important to me to help people who are suffering similarly. I teach a variety of yoga from Vinyasa flow to yin and restorative. When working with a client I like to learn their background and injury history so that I can tailor a class to their body. In a series I like to start with restorative/yin classes to restore the fascia before moving into any strength building poses. Creating the foundation before building upon it is very important.
I do ashtanga, vinyasa, heated and non-heated, all levels from beginner to advanced. Ayurvedic consultation is coming soon.
I am an RYT 200-hour yoga instructor with a personal commitment to helping people feel better at any level and have many styles. I teach the ashtanga based vinyasa-style, from gentle, chair-based beginner to fast and flexible. I'm experienced with modifying poses to fit your body's level for well-being and relaxation. I also facilitate breath work, meditation, and restorative yoga. Do you have belly troubles? I am committed to supporting people with techniques and practices that encourage digestive wellness and healing.

OmKids is a children’s Mindfulness and Yoga Program to support connection, attention, and emotional balance. OmKids brings Mindfulness and Yoga to children in Maine. This program uses 5 key elements of yoga and mindfulness to decrease the impact of stressors on children's learning, provide opportunities for children to learn at their highest potential, and develop emotion regulation skills. Many children face stressors that can have short and long-term detrimental effects. Stressors come in many forms and children show us the impact through behaviors like emotional reactivity, inattention, difficulty learning. OmKids provides children and caregivers the basic skills needed to balance emotions and manage stress. This program will support children and those who care for them to reconnect with themselves, their communities, and their environments with kindness and curiosity. Using the 5 key elements of Yoga and Mindfulness, OmKids builds empathy, strength, and resilience in our children. 5 Key Elements of Yoga and Mindfulness: 1) Connect - Engage students in activities to improve children's connections with themselves, others, and their environment with kindness and curiosity. 2) Breathe - Teach breathing techniques to energize or calm the body and mind. 3) Move - Provide fun opportunities to learn yoga poses that support processing stress hormones in the body, and release pent up energy. 4) Focus - Introduce activities that strengthen the ability to anchor attention at will and navigate, not eliminate, distraction. 5) Relax - Teach relaxation strategies to improve sleep and get children to feel more comfortable resting in their own bodies.
