Leslie's Catering did an outstanding job catering an 80th birthday party attended by more than 50 guests of all ages. It was held in the Cider Hill Clubhouse in Old Orchard Beach. The guests all raved about the food and service. I definetley would use them again.
Such a feeling of relief now that I've enlisted Emica to take over my wedding planning! She was very friendly and easy to talk to and I feel confident that she will be a very capable planner with her wedding experience and her background in corporate training. She knew exactly how to manage the planning and sequencing of events leading up to and on the big day. She also has some great ideas to help us stretch our budget.
I hired a bartender from Strange Events for a private party and he was wonderful! Mike called me the night before to do an informal meet and greet and to make sure i was all set for the party the following day. Mike was very attentive to my guests and was very nice. Renee followed up with me before my event to make sure that I was all set. Renee was very helpful and very easy to work with. After my event she sent me a text to check in to see how everything went with the party. I would absolutely hire Strange Events again for another event.
We chose the Frog & Turtle for our afternoon wedding reception, and we were thrilled with the planning, food, and service - and really, the bang for the buck was in our favor. I'm honestly just looking for an excuse to have them cater another event... maybe my housewarming party this fall? We'll see!
My husband and I hired Kelly as an event planner for our daughters wedding recently at the recommendation of friends of ours. As a father of four girls I have handled my share of wedding tasks. When my youngest got engaged she asked me to pay for a wedding planner so that she wouldn’t go through the stress that her three older sisters had to while planning their own weddings. My wife and I found Alanna through the Knot. I was impressed with Alanna’s reviews and how highly people spoke of her. We setup an interview with her and within seconds we were set on her. I noticed that the other planners we met with charged a lot higher than Alanna for less work. Alanna picked the perfect venue in North Conway and planned every last detail. My daughter who is one that doesn’t like to make decisions loved that Alanna took charge. She planned more than just a wedding, it was a full vacation. She booked us a tee time at a course I wanted to play for ten years, she scheduled spa and yoga sessions, and the inn room that she put us is could not have been more relaxing. I haven't seen my wife so happy in years. When the wedding day came it was peaceful and enjoyable. I wasn't running out to get ice or setting tables or hunting down a missing box of decorations. My wife and I checked in with Alanna at noon to see how the venue was coming along and everything was already setup. Every table setting was lined up perfectly. The Dj, bartender, and caterer were on time and ready to go which I had never seen at the previous weddings. We got to be guests at the wedding for the first time. Alanna made sure we didnt worry about anything. The ceremony was beautiful. Alanna added in a bunch of little details that made my daughter feel like a princess. I could not have been happier when I saw my little girl in her dress. I wish I could relive that moment over again. The reception was just as great. Alanna selected the caterer, baker, florist, dj, officiant, and venue all off a conversation with daughter about how my daughter and son in law met and fell in love. She could not have picked more perfect vendors. They were all just incredible and well within the budget. Alanna ended up saving us money on the wedding. I almost want to have another wedding to pay for just to work with Alanna again. Maybe she will consider being our family's travel agent from now on. This woman is remarkable and it shows that she loves what she does.
We used M.A.N.E. Catering and Event Services for our grandfather's 86th birthday party! The owner, Nicholas, is wonderful; he and the staff felt like part of the family throughout the entire process. Not only was the food delicious and the presentation flawless, my grandfather hasn't stopped talking about his party even weeks later! Thank you -- we can't wait for the next event!
I hired Mainely-Meatballs to cater a beach party last summer. Everything about the experience was top notch from the meatballs, to the Mac & Cheese, to the blueberry cobbler! My favorite dish was the cesear salad! I highly recommend them!
