Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Lindsey for one year. She has learned far more in that time than she did with her previous instructor in four years. Lindsey is so encouraging and patient and makes learning fun!

My 11-year-old daughter had taken guitar & piano lessons from Michael over the course of 2 years. He was very flexible with times & even locations for the lessons.....a studio in Ypsilanti, a music room at a nearby music store....or your own home. Michael is old school & understands Music at all levels & as such, communicates with young kids very well. Michael is also a very patient instructor, which he had to be with my daughter. I highly recommend Michael as an instructor to any one.....no problem.

My son had never had drum lessons before so he was pretty bad at first. We can definitely tell the difference over the past 2 months when he is down stairs practicing. Scott is very patient and my son really enjoys his lessons.

I was a student of Sam's for about two years, and I was extremely pleased with the level of improvement that my drumming took in such a short amount of time. Sam is great at breaking down concepts and explaining them in an easy to grasp way. His analogies are both entertaining and informative, the perfect combo to make any concept stick. The best part about working with Sam is that I could bring any concern or problem I'd been having into a lesson, and he would instantly have a creative way of breaking it down and showing me how I should practice it. Sam not only taught me important technical aspects of drumming, but he taught me how to practice effectively, and how to continue learning outside of lessons. I would highly recommend Sam as a teacher for students of any level.

Dan was well prepared with the songs I wanted to practice and was clear with his instructions. He has a very good ear for music and I'm excited to learn more from him.

Joe is teaching me the guitar. I am 26 with almost no prior knowledge, and he is very patient and understanding. He quickly helped me develop my interests and is making sure that I get exactly what I want out of the lessons. He seems very eager to help me and I am very much looking forward to our upcoming lessons!

About

My instruction stands out because I custom fit your lesson to what you're looking to accomplish musically. Everything we practice is geared toward making you the most effective drummer you can be. It's not always easy or fun. Sometimes it's difficult and frustrating but I'll show you how to push passed those obstacles and become the drummer you want to be. What I like most about teaching drums is that it keeps the art alive. It's something that doesn't take a drumset or even a pair or sticks. Drumming is something you can learn to just do: however, whenever. All you need is the right person to teach you.

About

I teach guitar, bass guitar and drums in the comfort of my home studio. I use Ludwig drums to teach on. I offer a two-for-one special where two can share the lesson. I encourage parents to sit in on the lessons. The lessons cost $15.00 for 1/2 hour and $25.00 per hour.

About

I provide lessons for students that range from beginner to advanced levels. I travel to you, as long as you own the instrument you are planning to study. I can assist students in reading, understanding theory, and even writing their own musical scores! Every lesson is personalized for that particular student and, if desired, can be geared in any direction they so choose --recording, theory, song choice, electronic additions, producing, etc. I am very open to adjusting my lesson plan to fit your personal style. As for myself, I have been playing piano and guitar for the longest, but I consider myself a drummer at heart. I have played with many live acts, released a number of recorded albums (some solo and some with groups), and most recently, I've been playing with the touring act, Stikyfut, as their drummer/backup vocalist. Music has taught me so much. It has led me to many adventures, introduced me to so many interesting people, and caused me to think introspectively about my life and the world that I can hand over to future generations. Hopefully, through providing lessons to students now, I can pass along the same love and excitement I have for music to these kids. My rates are $25/half hour lesson and $45/hour lesson.

About

About

I am a freelance jazz musician in the Michigan area. I am proficient in all forms of music, but I enjoy and am best at playing jazz, soul, hip-hop and funk. I am available for any sort of performance. I can construct a group upon request (i.e., trio, quintet, etc.). I am also available for private lessons on upright and electric bass, piano and keyboards, drum set and percussion and guitar. My main instrument and/or what I studied in university is upright bass, so naturally, I would be able to help most in that area. That being said, I play the drums and the piano professionally as well. All the best, Aidan Cafferty
