Delicious,Wonderful, Professional !!!!!!!!! Where do I begin? I found Chef Michael through a google search and after talking to multiple Chefs, Chef Michael by far was the most personable. He was extremely professional, and helpful in helping me plan a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. The party was for eight people and some very picky eaters. He helped pick foods that were advance but not to advance for my picky eaters. We started with 3 appetizers, all were amazing but definitely have him make his fresh tomato soup.....(It's heavenly), then it was a salad with candied walnuts , watermelon, fresh mixed greens and homemade dressing, for dinner we had Angus Prime Rib, real deal homemade horseradish sauce which my husband said just the right amount of kick, and cooked to perfection! with a wine reduction, spinach, roasted garlic potatoes, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and fresh homemade rolls and for dessert (my 2nd favorite of the of the night) was a flourless chocolate cake with a fresh fruit glaze and fresh berries (everyone stopped talking and all you heard was mmm, yumm, omg until the plates were emptied), Chef Michael paired the perfect wine selection for each course. He was fun, friendly, and professional, all my guest loved him. Chef Michael showed me the labels so I was assured everything was organic and as he promised. He was up front on everything. He even let me taste test while he was cooking. His assistant / waiter for the night was Justin who was equally professional, friendly, and fast on his feet to serve us dinner and kept the drinks flowing. The presentation was equally beautiful, and very carefully done. After dinner was over Chef Michael, and Justin packed all the food up in left over containers, did all dishes, cleaned the stove and all counter tops. He will be my go to Chef from now on. I cannot recommend him enough. If you want delicious food, and a friendly, fun Chef who knows what he is doing hire Chef Michael. Thank you so much Chef Michael for a stress free night. Michele G.

We first used Chef Cathy when my husband had surgery and was out of commission. With caring for the family and working full time I needed help. Chef Cathy came to my rescue. She worked with my family to come up with a menu of healthy meals that we received each week. I was so pleased with the fresh selection of healthy choices delivered and how easy it was to get dinner on the table. The best part was my family absolutely loved every dinner she prepared. Quite a feat with finicky kids! Since that time we have called on Chef Cathy for family meals and my daughters graduation party. I still receive compliments from friends and family on the tasty selection of foods served. I can't wait to see what she prepares for our next graduation party. He prepared stuffed peppers for a gathering of friends. He came with a variety of different flavor options including vegan. While he was preparing the food he was very personable and tried to be involved in the conversation. He seem to have a lot of variety in his cooking styles and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a unique menu for their meals for their next party

Kalie did a great job with the special dinner we catered to the providers in our office! Serving them a nice lunch allowed them to step away from patient care for 1hour and enjoy the wonderful meal prepared for them! The meal was not only delicious but absolutely beautiful presentation!     Event catering is a broad term that covers everything from fully prepared, ready-to-eat food that the hosts plate and serve themselves to full-service, multicourse meals, including rental of linens, glassware and other items, with service staff organized by the catering company. Usually a caterer will determine cost based on the type of event you’re having, how many guests will attend, the level of service you desire, and what type of menu you’d like to have. For example, if you have a set catering budget, say $1,500, and you plan to have 50 people attend, that means you have $30 per person for food. If you have the same budget with 100 people, you have $15 per person for food. In this way, the number of people you want to attend your event and the level of food you want to serve them determines how much catering will cost.

    Catering prices can range from about $10 per guest on the low end to $150 or more per person on the high end. Catering costs represent the quality of food, presentation, variety, ingredients and service. But catering prices are more than the cost to cook the food that will be at your party; they also include the cost for the company to do business. Here is a simple breakdown of catering prices:

    • Menu: The food you serve your guests will directly affect the price per person. Organic ingredients, complex recipes, elaborate presentations, or high-ticket items like lobster or filet mignon all add to the cost.
    • Service: Buffet, family style, plated dinners — how you serve the food affects the cost per person. For example, a true plated meal can cost about twice the price of a staff-assisted buffet because of staffing costs. Hiring waiters, bartenders and cleanup crew will all be calculated into the per-person catering price.
    • Drinks: Providing beverages and alcoholic drinks for guests greatly increases your catering budget. Hosting an open bar can cost as much per person as the meal.
    • Rentals: Seating, plates, glassware, etc., will all have an effect on the cost per person for catering. For example, a plastic conference table that seats 10 costs about $6 to rent on average, while a wooden farmhouse table is about $80 to rent on average.
    • Business costs: Any catering cost will also include the cost for the company to do business such as insurance, employee wages, commercial kitchen space and more.
