As someone with zero experience and expectations that would come with singing lessons, I was pleasantly surprised with my lessons with Dr. T. I was at a point where I knew I would like to learn but had no idea where to begin. Dr. T helped me with that by explaining things on a level that I (again, someone with minimal music background) could understand. I found some footing and felt motivated to practice. Shortly after, I felt a noticeable difference in technique, and continue to use it today. I had to stop due to my school and workload, despite Dr. T's flexible hours, I felt unable to manage everything. As soon as I can find the time, I will definitely resume lessons.
My young friend, for whom I purchased voice lessons from Elizabeth, is thoroughly enjoying her lessons! She loves Elizabeth and loves what she's learning. I'm very satisfied. :-)
Denielle is a wonderful music teacher, caring for her students' growth and success. She is committed to each student finding the love for music that she has experienced all her life.
David gives me helpful tips to correct things about my singing technique and make them better. He has helped me tremendously with my foreign language songs. He finds ways to explain how he would like me to sing something differently and how it would help make me sound better, in a way that makes sense to me. He is also very friendly, experienced and very approachable. I like hearing him tell me about his time in performances. I enjoy having voice lessons with David very much.
Voice lessons started in May of this year. Overtime I have learned valuable tricks and tips to help me reach notes with ease and precision. I am not perfect but feel like I am well on my way.
Lisa has taught my son flute since January 2011 with outstanding results. Then, he was a 9 year old boy who had never been introduced to playing or reading music before. He now plays exceptionally well - playing at our church and in a local advanced band. She has coached our whole family through the basics, is in tune with his learning style and professional in every way.
I am a full-time music teacher. I have just recently started back with the private lessons. I have played the piano since I was four. I was a voice and piano major in college. I have been teaching music in the public schools for the last 19 years, and I am also an organist for a local church.
We teach a lot of students at our music store. Our students benefit from the teaching culture we have at the store. Our instructors share ideas and techniques daily; we're always looking to improve. Most solo music teachers have a handful of students at any given time. As a result, the ability to improve their teaching skills will come more slowly. We offer a free private lesson, check us out no strings attached!
We can teach whole families with several children at the same place because no matter what instrument they want we offer it.
I live my work.
I am a college student studying piano at Western Michigan University. I love to spread the joy of music by teaching piano lessons, beginning voice lessons, and performing for events.
I'm not exactly a professional teacher in the traditional sense, but I sing myself and can definitely help you learn too!
I can teach basics of all types of music. Started off on the guitar, now I play piano, bass and drums and sing. I'm only 18, but I would love to make a career in music.
Claire is an experienced teacher and performer. She has taught full-time in addition to directing choruses and teaching privately for the past five years. She has performed classically with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, but Claire has also performed commercially--vocals, guitar, ukulele, percussion--at bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and other notable venues including the Women's March on St. Louis in January of 2017.
I believe that every lesson should be fun and comfortable! Depending on the students age and skill level, I pick out books that work for each student, and also ask the student to bring in a piece that they want to work on. Maybe we can learn that new radio hit or the oldie but a goodie that you've been wanting to learn for years! However, learning from books or internet videos alone do not offer the kind of one on one attention students need while learning an instrument.
My name is Phil LaSpina. I have been teaching guitar and voice for the past 27 years now. I teach beginners to advanced students of all ages. The guitar styles I taught are rock, blues, country, jazz, classical, and metal. I teach advanced concepts in speed soloing and arpeggios. I also teach reading music and chord charts. 11/13 is able to apply to other ages whatsoever can apply, if applicable. Don't be afraid to sing your favorite songs to me, so I can see which part of your singing needs help.
I teach beginner and intermediate voice and piano lessons. I am willing to travel to your home for $20 an hour lessons. I have been classically trained in the piano for 12 years and can teach any style. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor's degree in business, but I have always been a part of the music program throughout my student career.
