I had a drywall problem resulting from improperly installed plastic shower backing, which resulted in an outbreak of black mold and drywall rot. He came over to inspect the damage, shared some stories about previous renovations, and assured me that it was going to be all right. After we got the materials, he set to work - over the course of three days of unending toil, Don managed to review the damage, suggest some recommendations to save money, helped me pick out a tile and grout, and left the place clean. He loves renovating old houses and is eager to help out wherever he can - if there's a problem with a house, Don has likely seen it before and will have a good solution. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a good all-around handyman."See more

I called A&B Heating to repair an older central air unit that had run perfectly until now. He listened as I explained what had happened to the unit. After a little bit of trouble shooting he had it running in about 30 min. He was never about replacing the unit if the repair was cost effective. I have used several well known HVAC companies over the years. This is the first time that I felt that a company was here to honestly do the best possible job for me at a reasonable cost. He also gave me some helpful information on continuing care for my HVAC system. I am so relieved to have found this company. I will no longer feel apprehensive about calling someone for maintenance and repairs.

In the world of HVAC I know that many times bigger is not better. This is precisely why I did my research and wound up selecting Dave Feders of Central Heating & Cooling. Justin was great! My AC went out the other day, and other larger HVAC companies couldn’t come out until early next week. Contacted Justin, he responded quickly, was out the next day- I appreciated that he was able to come in the evening to work around my work schedule. He found the issue quickly, replaced a part, and continued to check things out to make sure the whole system was working as intended. I appreciated the little things he also did- cleaned the AC unit, replaced a damaged wire, and organized the wiring at my furnace. Thank you, Justin!!! This guy is amazing. I had a problem that needed a simple fix - he was the only one to respond with questions rather than quotes of base prices. Then he offered to swing by right away, on a weekend, assuring me it was a 5 min or less, very simple fix. He was right, my AC was up and running, and he didn’t even want to be paid for it because the fix was so simple to him (my dog chewed through a wire he replaced). The honesty and kindness, professionalism, was shocking. I paid anyways as a thank you for being so human-focused and friendly honesty, rather than his competitors that take make homeowners feel like they’re taken advantage of at every opportunity. If I ever have anything HVAC/electrical related, this is the guy I’m calling first - highly recommend you give him a shot at helping!
