I am a retired teacher who developed a "Bucket List" of activities I would like to do in my retirement. Piano and voice lessons were on my list. I have taken piano lessons three other times in my life, Only to last about a year. Jess has gotten me further musically than I have ever been. She is positive, has a great sense of humor, and adjusts her lessons to what I want. I look forward to my lessons each week!
I have liked to sing for decades. I recently started working with Angela for my first voice lessons. She obviously is knowledgeable about the anatomy of voice production. She is working first to give me the understanding of what goes into a quality voice that people want to listen to, by instruction, exercises and personal feedback from her. This is just what I'm looking for in a teacher.
My shy 14 year old daughter has been taking lessons with Arlys for several months. Arlys keeps my daughter focused with a sense of playfulness and fun. I have watched my daughter's singing confidence grow. I highly recommend Arlys for voice lessons.
Was quick to respond. Grand daughter is excited to continue with voice lessons.
Andrew works with me to help improve the support for my voice and improve the quality of my sound. Our lessons are usually at the Christ the King Lutheran Church and last about a half hour. Andrew impresses me with his extensive knowledge of the workings of the voice and how he uses that knowledge to determine exercises that help enhance the sound. In the short amount of time spent with Andrew I feel more knowledgeable about my instrument which, in addition to the exercises, has brought my singing to a higher level than before I started the lessons. The techniques that I have learned from Andrew will stay with me for a lifetime as I continue to learn and improve.
Highly recommended! We are thrilled with our daughter's progress since she started taking voice lessons from Joe over the summer. It's so nice to hear her sing (and play piano) filling our house with wonderful music! She actually wants to practice and is primed and ready for fall choir! Thank you Joe!
Our daughter had private voice lessons with Sue for a couple of years. Although she just graduated from a performing arts high school where she had an excellent experience, she really 'found her voice' with Sue. She was given a challenging and varied repertoire, had many performance opportunities, and received much positive encouragement and guidance. She was a wonderful coach and gave our daughter some much-needed self-confidence, both on and off stage!
my experience with piano lessons with Ms Diane are fun and amazing...
They found the perfect match for my daughter's voice lessons teacher!
My 12 & 15 year old sons took beginner guitar lessons with Rachel. I was impressed with what they learned and the price could not have been better. They were motivated and looked forward to their lessons. I liked how she set up the schedule in the beginning of the summer and provided options for any of our normal days that wouldn't work. I wish I had also signed another of my kids up for piano. I chose Rachel because the price was right and I wanted to gauge their interest levels. We will return to Rachel because the price is good AND she's a good music instructor who kept the kids motivated.
My teaching philosophy is built on the importance of education, experience, and a passion for music. I believe that through a classical foundation, any genre can be achieved and enhanced. In your lessons we will also cover sight singing, music theory, and music history.
Little Abundance Lessons provides education in a wide range of musical skills to beginner and intermediate students looking to expand their horizons. Whether you need guitar, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, piano, or vocal lessons, Little Abundance will design a custom approach each month to assure your progress. There has never been a limit to the things we can learn about music. Music Theory alone is an abundance of information. Yet no matter how much we learn, there's little we can say to properly describe our passion for music. I can only hope to pass part of that passion on to others. The following things are what to expect as a student with Little Abundance Lessons: 1. Being treated as an individual, with unique desires and needs 2. Progress with physical and intellectual control of your instrument 3. Motivation to practice (and love practice) 4. Excitement for your next lesson
She is very nice and worked really well with my 12 year old daughter. Hired her for more lessons.
I am one of the most skilled and accomplished guitarists in the country. You can see me on you tube at: scott fraser guitar.
I serve both adults and children and teach piano and voice and acting lessons. I specialize in preparing students to audition for choirs or theater productions. I especially love teaching piano to older adults. I have been an actor and a singer, singing with the Minnesota Opera Company for many years.
