We enjoyed meeting Diane who quickly and efficiently put us in touch with the right professionals for our needs. John worked in our yard, doing some general maintenance and the result was wonderful! All I knew was I wanted a pondless waterfall feature in my back yard, but wasn't sure how to accomplish it. Pond King communicated a vision that tied together my exterior boulder wall, utilizing a set of paver steps that no one used, leading down to a lower level fire pit. They executed their vision into a masterpiece! I would highly recommend Pond King for this type of project!

We were tired of the usual grass yard behind our house and connected with Russ Henry of Giving Tree Gardens. Russ designed a rain garden, butterfly garden and native stone walk and patio in our back yard and a rain garden on one side of our front yard. My wife's home office over looked the rear of our house and she enjoyed watching the different native plants bloom at different times over the summer and fall as well as the butterflies and bees that frequented the blooming flowers. We high recommend Russ to anyone tired of the run of the mill grass yard who wants interesting native plants instead.

Jeanne has been wonderful to work with! She truly listens to me and because of that, she is able to help me plan gardens that match my personality. Not only has she helped plan gardens, we have used Garden Hands for upkeep, as well as spring and fall clean-up services. Above all, Jeanne is friendly and honest, never overcharging for services. My husband and I look forward to having Jeanne back in 2016!

Robin Kyle has been incredible. He is hard working, thoughtful and hard working. Robin gets excited with you about your project and looks to educate you as you go so that you can have successful gardens. Not only is he educated in Permaculture, he specifically researches the plants that are put at your home. I am so thankful to work with Robin and look forward to future projects.

About

Every designer brings a unique perspective to his work, especially contractors who design for clients. I've noticed how quickly most designers will provide input to clients, before considering all the elements in play, simply to "get the job done." Most clients don't even realize this is happening if they don't have a design background. As a designer, I have the unique opportunity to influence and encourage my clients in one direction or another. When I work with clients, I withhold my design input as long as possible and gather as much info from my clients as I can. Afterwards, I then try to understand as much as possible, why YOU gave those answers, and with couples, try and discern what you both agree on, and where you disagree. It is this initial step of questioning, listening, and consulting YOU first, that I begin with. From this point, I then start to work the magic of putting the pieces together, creating pathways, spaces that are functional, building surroundings that you will enjoy, and crafting spaces that you will love. I always present you with two initial designs, completely unique from one another, and then we begin the process over again, and I consult with my clients to understand what they like and dislike. After this final consulting face, I weave all the elements together and present you with a final design. This process has worked tremendously every time.
