He, sanded and stained my entryway door, removed my bathroom ceiling fixture seeing how I couldn't get down so I could clean it then he replaced it. He moved my living room furniture, assisted with taping off woodwork then he assisted with the painting. When everything was done he clean up after himself. He agreed to come back on Monday to paint my kitchen and dining room.

Once we made contact, Bruce was very responsive and reliable. He came out to look at the job area, provided a timely estimate and then we set dates for the work. The craftsman who did the work was very courteous and competent. He took great pains to leave the work area clean. The end result was just what we expected and working with everyone at Apex was a pleasure. We will definitely use Apex again should the need arise.

I’m so pleased to find Kel Heyl on Thumbtack as now he will be available to even more homeowners. Kel has done work on and in my home since 2004, from very large projects to small tasks. I love that he is such a careful, creative and meticulous craftsman – his work is never slapdash. I’ve always been very happy with the results, and can recommend him highly to anyone interested in having work done on their home by somebody who knows what he’s doing, and will do it well. Built screened porch, based on his own design. (2004) Removed a chain-link fence and posts. (October 2004) Removed textured ceilings in living room and dining room. Ripped and installed new molding for both rooms. Installed a chandelier. (April 2010) Installed a new entry door to porch, including altering and adapting the jamb. (June 2009) Hung antique coat rack. (2008) Installed a new pre-hung access door for garage. (June 2009) Re-screened porch panels damaged by cat and raccoons. (July 2011) Hung a magnetic knife rack. (February 2012) Re-shingled garage roof, first removing old layers down to bare wood. (August 2012)

We were very happy with the result of our work with Kellington LLC. They are proven craftsman who can tackle the most complex project with care and professionalism. They also work closely with insurance carriers to assure there are no surprises when in comes to billing and coverage. Their continued follow-up was important as the various phases of the project were coordinated. We were especially satisfied with the quality of workmanship and genuine care exhibited by the work crew.

Howard Kasat was prompt in response to scheduling and did an excellent job in resurfacing cracks in the wall on either side of a curved alcove. He was very careful in cleaning areas that had been hidden by furniture and completed the paoint job in very good time. He ia very polite and informative and easy to converse with about this job and other potential jobs about which we might be interested. Ed & Rochelle Ferlauto

Greg has done several projects for me: -The largest project was a total remodeling of the kitchen/dining area; which were 2 separate rooms. This involved taking the areas all the way back to bare walls and bare floor - removing cabinetry, appliances, lighting, soft tile flooring, carpeting and un-repairable hard wood flooring. It also involved the removal of the wall separating the kitchen/dining area and cutting an opening into the adjacent living room/kitchen wall opening up this public area of the home. All cabinetry, countertops, appliances, light fixtures were replaced. Under cabinet lighting was added. Ceramic tile was installed as the new floor in both areas and the ceiling re-textured. Cabinets were also installed on the kitchen side of the living room/kitchen wall (above and below the opening that was created - using upper cabinets both above and below the opening; adding additional storage in the kitchen and creating a stool option at the countertop that was added on the kitchen side. In the dining area, a built-in china/buffet was created (using the same cabinetry as in the kitchen) again using only upper cabinets; installed as upper and lower cabinetry on that outer wall. The upper cabinets have glass doors for display, (under cabinet lighting was added as in the kitchen area) and solid door lower cabinets for storage. A countertop matching the kitchen countertops was added creating buffet style serving option when entertaining. Other projects: -Replacement (from the inside) of insulation and flooring in an added-on 3 season porch. -Creation of an “appliance closet” in the lower level utility area concealing the boiler, water heater, water softener, and circuit breaker box but allowing for easy access-by including double doors. -Creation and installation of a 10-inch platform beneath a front loading washer/dryer combination for easier access. -Installation of a security re-enforced double door front entry. - Repair of crumbling foundation on an exterior garage wall. I am very pleased with the work Greg has done and I would most definitely recommend him. He is very knowledgeable, very thorough, does quality work, does not cut corners, and completes what he starts.

The project was a siding replacement for house and garage. Half of the house is two floors. In total there was about 2400 square feet of floor. We used heavy duty vinyl siding. There were a lot of lights, doors, windows, corners, etc to work around. The crew did excellent work meeting these challanges. Additionally, we went with full metal cladding for all window & door trim as well as fascia, and veranda support structure. The metal cladding was formed on site and perfectly fit everything it was applied to. The crew was here at 7:00 am ready to start and worked till after 6:30 pm. Mr. Lessard was here most of the time when he wasn't retrieving additional materials that were needed as the work progressed. The result was a project that went smoothly from start to finish. It is now a year later and there have been no problems due to winter weather or spring storms. We are totally happy with the results and have no regrets for choosing to go with Tier1 Restoration.

Transform Design may not be known for their deck building, but they should be. We were in need of someone to complete a deck that the previous carpenter never returned to finish. Casimir and his team took a photo of a deck we liked and created a finish product that looks amazing! They were friendly and easy to work with. From the time of arrival to finishing, everything was done in a professional manner. The team worked diligently, efficiently and cleaned up after themselves each day. We were very impressed and highly recommend Transform Design Solutions to others for any project.

When I reached out to Kenichi to help me build 20 wood frames, he immediatly got back to me with a detailed quote of what the cost of labor and materials would be. He did the work in a fast and professional matter with a high quality level of craftsmanship. His prices were more than fair and I would recommend him to anyone who has some custom woodworking needs. Craig refinished an antique library table for us and did a fantastic job. He is really knowledgeable about different types of woods and stains. I appreciated his collaborative style. He asked a lot of questions to ensure the final product met our expectations, and he provided great ideas to help guide our decisions. He is really meticulous, and he finished the piece faster than anticipated (although I know he put a ton of time and energy into it). My husband and I plan to work with him again - I highly recommend Craig for his high quality work.

Terry has done a lot of different jobs for us. Woodworking, siding, painting. I am sure there are more I can't think of right now. All work is done as requested and he always has good ideas for how to do the job better. He is a very hard working self starter. He does very good work.
