Introduction: i have been officiating at weddings for many years........getting on thumbtack has been so amazingly wonderful!! the couples i have met and been able to officiate at their weddings has been absolutely delightful!! they have enriched my life in ways they will never know. i am so grateful for all the opportunities i have had. i recently deactivated my account with Thumbtack but after a short while i realized how much i missed it and reactivated my account........in doing so i lost all my reviews............,so i am starting from scratch. ..so it goes.......but i truly love meeting with the couples and planning their ceremonies, exactly as they want their ceremonies to be. i am open to all kinds of weddings and especially open to all couples from nonreligious to religious and anything in between. i am passionate about people, the outdoors, hiking , biking, traveling the world and dogs...i love the opportunities i have to use my creative side and my passion for officiating. i will gladly share with you my past reviews!!!!

As an intercultural couple, we had no idea where to look to find an officiant for our wedding day. We thought maybe a friend at first but wanted to ensure our ceremony was special and meaningful, so I went out looking for recommendations on Facebook and was referred to Marggi's Thumbtack site from another MN bride. Marggi immediately touched our hearts with her kindness and passion for what she does. I loved that she wanted to meet us personally and spend time getting to know us. We met multiple times, both in person and over the phone to discuss our plans and get to know each other. On the day of the wedding, Marggi showed up early and prepared. Everything about the ceremony was perfect, and I absolutely loved how personal and intimate our ceremony was, just as we wanted. What really underlines, Marggi's skill was hearing from others after the ceremony. She was the talk of our cocktail hour, as so many people thought she had to be a relative or a close friend due to how personal she made the ceremony feel. People were shocked when we told them we had just met a few months prior. Marggi put a lot of time and effort into writing a special "little talk" that was specific to us based off of interviews that she had done prior. This little talk was both touching and hilarious. Our ceremony exceeded our expectations, and I would happily recommend Marggi to anyone looking for an officiant.

We were so happy to have Marggi as our wedding officiant. She met with us three times before the ceremony to get to know us and personalize our ceremony exactly how we wanted it. She radiates kindness and happiness and everyone was asking how we met our officiant after the wedding. We loved how she included pieces about our relationship, and respected and embraced the non religious ceremony we were looking for. We were so glad to have found Marggi to make our day just perfect.

Marggi met with us a few times and each time it felt like we were old friends! She’s so warm and welcoming that she makes you very comfortable opening up. We feel like she really got to know us and used the information she got to deliver an absolutely amazing, unique and personalized ceremony that we got many many comments about! Marggi is simply the best and loves what she does which is evident in the ceremony that she delivers!

my cost for a wedding is 275.00 the rehearsal is 125.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i send the couple my ceremony and have them look it over just to get an idea of the order and what is included in a ceremony......next i love to meet with the couple at least twice before the wedding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have a doctorate and a masters of divinity.
