Poppy is totally warm and welcoming and sweet. I met with her when I had never done yoga before and was considering private lessons. She even taught me some basic yoga breathing. I couldn’t afford private lessons in the end, but anyone whose business hires her is very lucky! She also offers some type of recharging/recentering/energy work session (I don’t remember how to describe it) but I was very interested and still may do it in the future. I don’t even want to pay for full price yoga classes so I should expect not to be able to afford private classes. But I am sure the classes for businesses are well worth it!

I love working with beginner yogis to learn the basics. It can be very intimidating to go to a yoga class for the first time. There are lots of different types of yoga and lots of different types of classes. I work with the beginners to teach the breathing and base poses to get them started and help them feel more comfortable going into a local class. I also work with larger yogis to feel more comfortable and learn modifications so they can get all the benefits from yoga. Anyone can benefit from yoga, so I want everyone to try it a couple of times to see how it can work for them.
