My six year daughter has been taking piano lessons with Christian for about a month now. I am so impressed with everything he has taught her! Christian is a very talented musician, but more importantly he is a exceptional teacher!
This was so much easier than I ever expected. A2 had a teacher at my doorstep within a week to start teaching my son guitar. Great teacher too, all in all I can't complain!
My daughter has a lot on her plate (like most teenagers), and I felt sad when we bumped guitar lessons off the list. When Ric told me he was going to be having lessons that fit our schedule, I was super excited. Not only was he flexible, but he has such passion for the music. It really comes through in how he relates to the kids. Bloomington is lucky to have Three Rivers Music Academy here!
My son, who was 10 years old at the time, took drum lessons from Craig for a school year. The only reason why we stopped was that we moved out of state. Craig was a terrific teacher and mentor. Clearly he knew music and how to teach it. He was very positive and encouraging, not to mention patient. His price was affordable and the cost of the material was reasonable as well.
I've been taking drum lessons from Colin for a little over a year. He's knowledgeable, patient, reliable and personable. Highly recommend his service.
Ted is very patient with my son. He has focused on making drumming fun but also incorporates the rudiments of drumming into the lesson. The rudiments of drumming can be frustrating for younger children but Ted has found a good balance with his teaching technique. I was very impressed with my son’s progress within a short period of time.
My son has been going to School of Rock at their Eden Prairie and Burnsville locations for almost five years. He started when he was 8 years years old and very much a beginning guitar player. His skills on the guitar sky rocketed with the combination of lessons and playing in show rehearsals with other kids. He now plays drums as well. I can't say enough good things about the the entire staff at School of Rock. From the location managers to the teachers to the show directors. Everyone has been kind and respectful to myself and more importantly, my son. Great work guys!
I can't imagine how much smaller my son's world would be if we had not met Peter O'Gorman. Peter took a shy, introverted boy and taught him poise and self confidence in just a few years. My son, Collin, learned not just how to drum, but how to cooperate, how to give and take, and how to enjoy music. After giving Collin years of drumming lessons, Peter set my son up with a jazz drumming professor and a Jazz drumming ensemble at college. Peter continues to reach out to my son and to work with him when school is out. Thank you, Peter, more than I can say, for changing Collin's world. Barbara May Attorney at Law
We've only had 2 lessons with Scott so far, but the kids get SO excited for him to come! They count down the days to their next piano lesson, so he is definitely doing something right!
Julie and Carr keys music has been a pleasure. My daughter loves taking lessons there. Reasonable prices as well.
My son is really enjoying his drum lessons with Eddie and is excited each week. I am impressed with how much he has learned so far and looking forward to continuing.
Mellisa has been teaching me the art of piano for the past 7 months and I have to say it has been a wonderful experience! She is not teaching from a script but rather individualizes her lessons as to where I am at. Her grace, style, and professionalism make Eighty Eight Notes a first class school of music! Thanks, Mellisa for enriching my world with a new found love for piano music!
During my lessons, Zach helped me work on my technique to get the most out of my drumming. I had never taken drum lessons before, but I wanted to learn. Zach was very patient with me. He did an excellent job at explaining everything and demonstrating proper drumming technique. Plus, he made everything fun and easy to understand. He would be a great teacher for beginner or intermediate drummers. Thanks again, Zach!
I've been taking drum lessons from Jeremy at Klash Drums for a year now and he is the best! I started as a beginnner and have made amazing progress. He lets me work at my own pace but also gives me a push when I need it. I can play lots of different rudiments and beats and have a great time improvising. I also bought my kit from Klash and and it's a great starter set with a number of excellent features, custom assembled to fit what I need. I'm not going anywhere else for lessons and, when I'm ready, I'll get an upgrade on my drum kit from there, too. Klash rocks!
I have nothing but great things to say about Lunar E-Clips Studio and Larry Lees. He has been been our primary audio producer, recording the voices and scripts for the majority of our content experts, since we started creating Whitewater Learning online professional development for educators . The sound quality is very good and Larry is a joy to work with.
Face-to-face lessons provide the best foundation for any student by providing basic fundamentals and guidance on “healthy playing.” Proper posture, technique and musical approach will ensure that the playing experience is of total enjoyment. I teach students at all stages of musical development. I work with each student to customize a program that facilitates their learning style while addressing their musical needs and aspirations. My students learn good practice habits, how to approach challenging material, how to prepare for auditions, recitals, concerts, and how to develop their own creative voice. My overarching goal is for students to discover the joy of playing music while developing a high degree of musicianship.
Little Abundance Lessons provides education in a wide range of musical skills to beginner and intermediate students looking to expand their horizons. Whether you need guitar, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, piano, or vocal lessons, Little Abundance will design a custom approach each month to assure your progress. There has never been a limit to the things we can learn about music. Music Theory alone is an abundance of information. Yet no matter how much we learn, there's little we can say to properly describe our passion for music. I can only hope to pass part of that passion on to others. The following things are what to expect as a student with Little Abundance Lessons: 1. Being treated as an individual, with unique desires and needs 2. Progress with physical and intellectual control of your instrument 3. Motivation to practice (and love practice) 4. Excitement for your next lesson

My students regularly outperform their peers and are heavily represented in the top ensembles in their schools, as well as all-state programs. Also, by teaching lessons at the student's home, they are much more comfortable playing on their own instrument -- young drummers are all different shapes and sizes, and so are their drum sets. I really enjoy the first time a particular student has more material prepared for their lesson than they were assigned, especially if the extra work was creative. It means that the student is starting to pursue music for music's sake -- they are becoming a true musician!
