Of course like everyone else on here, I was looking for the perfect wedding planner LOL. I researched for what felt like forever (to my husband anyways), and I finally found Holly. She was referred to me by several friends and also a thumbtack pro for a 4th year in a row and 2018 Couples Choice Award winner from Wedding Wire as well! So I was finally willing to make the commitment and have her help me with what seemed like a lot of vendor phone calls. From the initial planning to the day of, everything was perfect. She helped pick my venue.. did all the vendor calls and planning perfected my flowers and my vision of what I wanted, for me and all 7 bridesmaids! We als had to find the perfect venue as well as authentic southern food catered in -and even made my mom ( who is incredibly picky but has great yet expensive taste) was Soooo happy!!! My mom thought we spent 6x more than we did, but Holly was able to find what I wanted and my husband Cal as well.. and keep us on time and in budget! Holly -you’re a lifesaver!
I am writing to let everyone know how pleased we were with Kelly Houlehan as a wedding coordinator for our daughter’s wedding, June 24, 2017. The ceremony was held at the MN Arboretum and we some scheduling challenges that Kelly navigated easily. When I arrived at the Arboretum at 11:00 am the day of the wedding, I had no idea Kelly and I would not get into the reception venue to prepare the tables until much later in the day when I was scheduled for photos. Kelly used her time efficiently to listen to my detailed plan, sort the décor to facilitate the transfer of flowers, candles, lights, pictures, and butterflies to their respective locations. She set up everything without my help. The reception room was absolutely stunning and the ceremony lovely. I could never have successfully done the décor had it not been for Kelly’s hard work, efficient planning and professionalism. Kelly was also on hand to reminded us of our photo timelines and got us to the ceremony location on time. She served as a point person for any questions that came up during the reception like helping the DJ to upload the slide show, coordinating the event with the Arboretum staff and keeping my relatives' meals warm while they stepped out for a minute. Kelly was there to respond to every question or problem that arose. She also help organize clean up and packed the décor at the end of the evening. WOW!! Kelly was easy to work with and made it possible for me to enjoy my daughter’s wedding, eat a wonderful meal and celebrate the evening with dancing. I cannot speak more highly of Kelly’s ability to listen carefully, actualize that plan, herd our families around to pictures, ceremony and reception, and clean up. She is an exceptional contractor for the Wedding Collective. I would highly recommend Kelly’s services to everyone who is planning a wedding. Thank you Kelly.
While we were planning our wedding, I decided that we needed help. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the details and wasn't sure how I was going to make everything happen from another state. Jaime was amazing! She was everything that we needed and more. From beginning to end, I didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Thank you, Jaime!!
Chris was awesome, he met with my wife and I about an hour before the ceremony. In that time he met and greeted my wife, family & friends. Got me to feel comfortable and not so nervous even told us all a little about himself. When it came to the ceremony he was able to complete it exactly how I wanted. I asked for it to be simple and sweet, and gave exactly that and also acknowledged that I just wanted to get to our marriage and not be so concerned with the wedding. My marriage ceremony was small and simple and when I do decide to have a wedding I would definitely choose to use him again. And I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant. Also it was awesome to find out that we were his first same-sex couple.
My daughter was married at St. Olaf Collage Church and had the venue there as well. Kat was amazing!! She had complete control of everything from beginning to end! As the mother of the bride, I was amazed how smoothly the entire rehearsal and wedding went. Kat was the go to person for everything. She kept things going. The pastor was very late for the rehearsal. Kat took over and didn't waste any time getting everyone started. She stepped in and took care of anything that needed to be done. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and will recommend her to anyone getting married. Her advise up front was invaluable. She saved my daughter so much money with many recommendations and advise. She also did our makeup. She is a professional in all aspects of events. Many wedding attendees asked me who she was and where we found her. They were very impressed with her. My brother-in-law is a pastor and said he wished that all the weddings he sponsored had Kat working at them. He said she really knows what she is doing and what a difference she makes. Ania and her team were simply amazing. They took what was a tight window for a room flip and made it happen effortlessly. Throughout the night, we continually received positive feedback about Ania and her crew from our DJ, caterer, etc. She and her team are definitely the glue that makes a great wedding come together.
We chose Bouquets N' Such to do our floral arrangements for our wedding. I worked with Ms. Trudy! Anyone planning a wedding knows how stressful things can be. Ms. Trudy made this the least stressful part of my planning. She knows her stuff and gave me plenty of options to work from. She listened to exactly what I wanted, she worked with our budget and she kept in constant communication with me, any questions I had, she promptly responded, she even anticipated questions I would have and provided that information up front! I wish they had 10 stars because this company deserves it. I received so many compliments on all of the floral arrangements at our wedding. She provided service that was "To good to be true," but it was TRUE!! I cannot say enough about them. They were genuinely happy for our wedding and made my experience so worth it! I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion.
Jessica and Jenna are true professionals. I booked them as my day-of coordinators for my wedding reception, and from the beginning they were prompt and clear communicators - over email, by phone, and in our in-person site visit. They really know weddings and events inside out and were always thinking two steps ahead. I always felt like they were listening to my vision and asking good clarifying questions in order to execute my event in the best way possible. Ashley was the day of wedding coordinator for our wedding day and did a fabulous job! She assisted with our rehearsal as well and we felt at ease on our wedding day as she was so organized and ensured that our day went smoothly! I have seen many events catered by Penny and her team, and am always impressed by how seamlessly and flawlessly they take place. Penny always comes more than prepared to make the event perfect, has a lot of creativity, great menu options, and very affordable prices. We've had her to banquets, buffets, anniversary parties, client events, birthday parties, barbecues, garden parties, and more. Hopefully one of these days we'll get to see her work her magic on a wedding, too!

If you’re looking for one of THE best wedding planners around, you absolutely need to get in touch with Anjali. Make no mistake, she is the best. We did our homework, interviewed several planners nearly a year before our wedding, interviewed references and nobody even came close to connecting with us and what we wanted on a more personal and professional level as she did. It’s been a little more than six months since our wedding and we continue to receive comment after comment on how beautifully put together our wedding was. It was a true experience and we owe that all to Anjali! Anjali is an extremely intelligent woman who is very thoughtful in her planning. She blends intellect with years of success, a positive attitude, top-of-the-line team of vendors, takes extreme pride in her work and above all else, she honestly cares about you. She’ll take care of you, she’ll go to battle for you, she’ll solve a ton of problems for you and she will always balance your particular quality/price equation. I think we had to most amazing wedding imaginable. Filled with surprises and EVERY part of the ceremony and reception was much better than I actually imagined. How often does that happen…you get more and better than you expected?? She is respected by anybody who is anyone and despite what I clearly saw as a very close and comfortable working relationship with these vendors, she never once let anything slip. She nailed the business end of the wedding planning, budgeting, negotiating and she completely took care of us every step of the way. There are few things more important than your wedding day. I wanted assurances and piece-of-mind that everything would go perfectly despite any problems that may naturally arise. Anjali is the best out there. I’m so impressed with what she accomplished and how she accomplished it and we consider it a total blessing to have had her as our Wedding Planner!
When I first put out a bid on thumbtack for our wedding, I got a lot responses. Melissa was the first person that didn't make me feel like a dollar sign. She took the time to get to know me and my partner on a personal level and made sure to reflect that in all of the details of our wedding. She and her team are incredible. Our wedding was on a very tight budget and we were consulting florists to fit our small budget for flowers. We finally decided to do it ourselves to keep the costs down. However, I did want to leave a feedback for Lori as she was very easy to work with. She is patient and took the time to understand my needs! Wish you the best!
