I've been taking guitar lessons from Jay for about 1&1/2 years! Because of Jay's teaching method and patience, I have more than surpassed all expectations I had about being able to play the guitar. My goals were to learn how to play the guitar if I could and have FUN doing it! Jay's method, 'Vertical Truth' is easy to comprehend and with Jay's help I am playing more songs than I could have ever imagined. Also with Jay's help I have been able to begin transferring what knowledge of music theory I have from playing other instruments to the guitar! Simply put, Jays method of teaching is designed to help each student at their own pace as no two individuals are the same! 'Vertical Truth' is a fabulous way to learn how to play the guitar and Jay is a GREAT teacher! Thanks Jay!!!!👍

I am an adult student, having had several previous years of classical lessons with other teachers. I have just begun lessons with Tatiana and have found her very easy to work with. I was immediately impressed by her extensive knowledge of composers, types of music, theory, and analysis of pieces of music. From my very first lesson I learned several things and know that continued lessons with her will only help me improve in technique and understanding music better. I am looking forward to learning more from her. And, of course, she plays most beautifully! I heartily recommend her.

Dr. Hall is by far one of the best teachers and mentors I have ever had. Not only has he improved my singing exponentially in just a few lessons, but he has helped me with my personal life in planning for college and my career. I do not regret a cent.

Kevin and Angela Traynor are remarkable, talented individuals. Kevin was able to take our son from not wanting to continue piano to a young man who is so grateful he continued. Kevin has such a mild manner and the patience needed to help kids and teens stay on task. He still holds our son's interest as a high-school-age student. He has taught Pat to play some of the rock songs on piano that he loves and listens to. This, combined with the classical methods used by the Traynors, has just made a world of difference for Pat. Not long after Kevin began teaching my son, our back door neighbor's daughter, who is a year older than Pat (they are 16 and 17, respectively) was so impressed that he was teaching in her home not too long after. These kids were in early middle school at the time they were introduced to the Traynors, and both still take lessons and play beautifully. Angela Traynor is also extremely talented, and as kind and generous as Kevin. They are so easy to work and interact with. I feel they are our good friends as well as super piano teachers. We recommend Traynor Piano to every one, including dear friends, that has an interest.

Jasmine is very talented musician armed with extremely effective teaching methods for any age group of students. She quickly adjusts the lessons to the level of instruction that are required to meet goals. Her approach is very systematic with the wealth of experience she has gained over the years in piano teaching and she makes sure that with each lesson the confidence and interest in music increases and learning becomes fun. I am taking Piano lessons from Jasmine since last 1 year and journey is enriching. I highly recommend Jasmine as guide, tutor in journey of music for every student.. all the best to Jasmine for her musical journey...

Great company and an even better instructor. Leigh Ann has done a great job teaching me the French language. She is very adaptable to my learning style, and she goes above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the most out of her lessons. I highly recommend going to the Language and Music House. It will improve your language skills and make you enthusiastic for all the possibilities of world travel.

I cannot speak more highly of Mr. Agee! My son was interested in learning the Irish fiddle so he could play with his cousins that live in Dublin. Mr. Agee was patient yet demanding, encouraging, and extremely talented. We didn't know of him before searching out a fiddle teacher, but every time someone asked us about my sons teacher, they DID know of him. He is extremely talented and well know in the KC Metro (and beyond) Irish music circles, and teaches students young and... young at heart. We have taken a break from lessons for a bit, and cannot wait to get back to working with Mr. Agee!

I am a waiter at a local pizza shop here in KC and had been bullied by a delivery driver for almost 2 years. He made me look and feel stupid in front of countless numbers of people and even kicked and punched me a number of different times trying to get me to fight him. I was to scared as I had never really been in a fight. Well.... 1 single 1 hour private lesson with Jason and I felt confident that I could defeat anyone. Jason told me that he didn’t want me to fight the guy unless he started it first. Well it didn’t take long for that to happen. Lol. It felt awesome. 24 years old and my first real fight and I destroyed this guy in less than 10 seconds. I got fired to as the guy is the owners Son. Lol. So worth getting fired though. ;-) Thank you Jason. Seriously, Thank you
