Latest Review: "Aurelien has an exceptional approach to fostering a child's appreciation of music.  The structure of his class is dynamic and engaging; he is exposing children to the piano but also core musical concepts like rhythm, soft and loud sounds, high and low notes.  His approach is grounded in creativity, encouragement, and close observation of his students.   In teaching piano, Aurelien has found his vocation."

Latest Review: I love having lessons with Dr. Olson. I have fallen in love with piano after learning with Dr. Olson. I have learned to play the pieces of different style, from classical to romantic. He would let me feel the music instead of just tell me what to do. I still remember Dr. Olson said I could imagine the piano as an orchestra. That made me enjoy the piece a lot more because I can feel the melody and harmony.

Latest Review: I have worked with Michelle both as a parent and as a student myself. She was my daughter's piano teacher from the age of 6 to 11. During that time she took my daughter from a beginner to playing difficult classical pieces and college level music theory. This foundation supported her all through her musical career and she now plays 7 instruments and writes music (she is 19 now). I came to Michelle wanting to realise my lifelong dream of singing. She both encouraged me when I was insecure and pushed me past my self-imposed blocks. Ive worked with many other teachers over the years and not one of them gave my the technique or the confidence that Michelle did. Additionally, she incorporates group work shops & recitals that are not just for showing off. She uses these as tools for learning by observing our peers, and confidence builders in the safest space inaginable.

Latest Review: After a hiatus of 37 years, Sharon graciously accepted me as an organ student. She was immensely patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She has left me with a varied repertoire of music that I can use as a substitute organist, but most of all, she has brought me back to the deeply satisfying experience of playing the organ again. I am and will be forever grateful!

Latest Review: What I really like about Jasmine's teaching is that she highly recognized the value of parent involvement, particularly for young students of 4-5 years old. When my daughter first started piano lessons with another teacher, it was "closed-door" and I have no idea what goes behind the door, what she has learned, or where she needs practice. At that age, they may not recall what they've learned or what they need to work on. So for 2 months, I saw her kept repeating the same exercises. When I found Jasmine, I was elated! She encourages parents to sit in the lessons and see what she's teaching, and after every lesson, she will write in a notebook what the child has learned that day. This way, she explained, the parent can coach the child during the week and the student can progress faster. She wants her lessons not be practice sessions, but be lessons where new things can be added on. True enough, in 3 lessons, my daughter has learned more than she had in 2 months! I'm very impressed and would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone seeking to have a good foundation training in piano for their kids.

Latest Review: It has been about two years since our son started taking piano lessons. Cathan has been an extremely knowledgeable, wonderful, caring and inspiring teacher for him from the very beginning. She was very encouraging when we were looking for a teacher and created a great impression on us right on the first day. My son's fondness for the music and the music teacher has only gone up since he started taking lessons. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to the beginners as well as advanced learners.
