Where do I start? What a perfect person for a perfect wedding. You made our wedding day the best it could be. We are so happy to have been able to share it with such a wonderful person. You made all of our dreams come true. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. With a wedding, you only have one chance to get it right. You were perfect and we "Thank You" so much for making it the happiest day of our lives. Your the best!! I hope each person the uses your services.... whether it be a wedding , yoga, or whatever it may be..... find as much happiness with you as we did. Thank you so much.
Had an amazing experience with Celeste as my instructor. I usually don’t like yoga or practice meditation, and she absolutely changed my perspective. She was able to access all levels of the class but still create a positive environment for stretching, balance, breathing, and a great exercise as well. She knows what she’s doing and I will definitely be coming back for another session!
Shari choreographed our wedding dance, and was a wonderful teacher. We had a great time every lesson. It was also a welcomed break from all the stress of wedding planning. We would highly recommend her! She made two first-time dancers look and feel like pros.

Our intention is to inspire movement, breath, prana, joy, health and community in a supportive environment. I specialize in yoga as therapy to allow the benefits of yoga to be felt by everybody.
I am so glad that I stumbled upon Seeking Solace. My experience there (which has included taking every single class offered, from more than one instructor) has been instrumental in the growth of my own yoga practice. I have not only experienced a welcoming, calming, and nurturing version of each type of class taken. But I have managed to learn more in the classes taken at Seeking Solace, than I feel like I have learned in the past few years of various classes overall. Colleen (the owner) takes an active and very individual approach with each student. I feel that this carries over to each class depending on the group in attendance that day as well. I personally appreciate and thrive in an environment where the instructor is dedicated to truly providing the best possible class to each individual person there. There are a variety of classes throughout the week, as well as a Saturday class and occasional workshops & additional offerings. You can feel comfortable knowing that your teacher will explain the postures in such a way that you can modify for your own body & experience level. If you are brand new to yoga, suffering from an injury that perhaps has kept you from trying or returning to yoga, or if you are a seasoned yogi, this studio has something to offer that will deepen your practice and allow you to learn at the pace needed, with exceptional instruction from a veteran, well trained, & highly devoted instructor.
We are a donation-based yoga studio that is located in the Crossroads art district of Kansas City. We specialize in power yin and hatha yoga.
Cara is the best yoga instructor I've ever had! Her knowledge was diverse enough to work with me through prenatal, postnatal, and regular yoga, as well as train my husband who has wrist pain all in the same session. She is a very skilled and educated yogi. I highly recommend working with Cara if you can!
My first class was awesome. I felt so good after class.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the alignment of the body which is important for your safety and for strength and flexibility. My private clients include an amputee, one who overcame stage 4 kidney disease working with me, people rehabilitating back issues, knee replacements, and hip replacements, athletes and those who want to learn yoga for strength, flexibility, and relaxation. I also have an in-depth knowledge of the philosophy of yoga, I teach meditation, and I am an energy worker.
I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with my students and clients. I am a trained yogi and in training yoga therapist with an emphasis in wellness. I can give you a personalized yoga practice and an Ayurvedic eating plan based on your body type. I can talk you through a plan and help guide in your wellness journey.
I am a student at K-State studying kinesiology and nutrition. I am a 200-hr RYT available to teach multiple formats -- hatha, power vinyasa, ashtanga, deep stretch or yin yoga.
I currently offer private or group Lessons in the privacy of your own home or a location of your choosing. I also teach at local studios if you prefer such an atmosphere.
I do sun salutations, yoga asanas, and breathing exercises. I have an open practice to encourage and discover new space together on our mutual path.
