I've been taking lessons on and off with Aaron for a few years, and I always enjoy them. Aaron focuses on the music that I like to play, and finds a way to help me build my skills within the genre of music that I enjoy and would like to perform. He always makes the lessons fun, but appropriately challenging. Most importantly, he provides a lot of opportunities to perform with other students and musicians, which keeps me motivated to practice and improve. I would, and often do, recommend Aaron for anyone considering taking guitar lessons.
John was my first Guitar teacher and I only wish I had known how valuable my lessons were looking back. I started playing late in High School and was unable to continue once I graduated. In the short time that I took lessons I learned so many fundamentals that have allowed me to go forward with my playing sans-teacher. For my senior project in High School John let me and a friend record a few songs in his home and mentored us along the way. He didn't ask for anything in return and truly wanted to see us grow as musicians. I can't recommend him enough!
My daughter has taken drum lessons with the Drum Lab for almost a year. She loves it! I myself am a teacher and have had the pleasure of watching Tony teach. He is current and makes navigating learning to play a new instrument fun. (Not always an easy feat). 5 stars to you Drum Lab!
I spent a decade of my life taking lessons with Steve, and not only was it fun, but he was helping me prepare for the path of drumming I was to take. He let me choose what I wanted to learn. If I got stuck, he would slow it down and help me. If I had a question about real life drum situations, he always had the best advice, but he was also dedicated to teaching. Before I got to lessons, he would know what he wanted to teach me. Not many people are as enthusiastic as Steve. Aside from being his student, Steve is a great friend and we've had some great times in the studio.
Dave is the man! He will give you a challenge, but he will work with you start to finish. Dude is a pro, highly recommend him for your drum lessons
everyone was very professional at this facility, my son warmed up immediately. Mr. jackson, the drum insructor was very encouraging and patient with my son during the first session. i love love love the atmosphere. my son will definitely stay in the drumming program as long as it is available
Charles and I performed together both in our high school and college bands. In our high school marching band we both played the snare drum and even though I was fairly good, Charles took my playing heights to a whole new level. It is something that I would never forget and I carried it all the way through my college career. Chuck is very patient and concise in his method of teaching and he did not give up on me until I got it. Either if it was just our snare feature (that Charles came up with.) or just a part in the written music that I may have had trouble with he made sure I learned and understood the criteria needed and when I needed to have it. I can say that Charles " Chuck" helped me in to wanting to become better percussionist and have the desire to pursue a career in music. Keep doing what you're doing ChucKK! You will be an awesome instructor. "I'm not a drummer. I'm a percussionist" -nobody
I needed a drummer for my event, and I came into contact with Darien through a mutual friend, and he was able to attend, and play at my event. He was very professional and courteous. He would definitely be the first person I would contact if I ever needed a drummer for an event or for drum lessons.
Bass drum lessons with Craven are great. He's taught me a lot of tricks and playing exercises that help me with my music. He's patient is willing to help with almost anything I might need help with. I recommend taking lessons with him.
