"I have known Mr. Murphy for a year and a half. He was the children's choir director at my parish. My 8 year old son was a member of the choir. Mr. Murphy got to know him, offered us piano lessons and we agreed. My son enjoys his lessons very much with Mr. Murphy. I like Mr. Murphy because he is an accomplished musician, he is patient and respectful of children and knows how to motivate them to do their best. We are very happy with him teaching our son piano."

"Chris is an excellent teacher to our daughter, who has dyslexia. He is patient and relaxed and she actually enjoys going to piano lessons! She doesn't enjoy most things that are challenging, so that's a huge accomplishment."

"Sue Alexander from the MusIQ club will be giving piano lessons to two grandchildren and me. She responded very quickly and very nicely agreed to come by so we could meet and she could be introduced to the children. My daughter and her children and I were all delighted with Sue and are looking forward to the lessons."

"As a karaoke addict and musical theatre lover, I finally decided I was going to take the plunge into taking singing lessons. I looked around at several options in the St. Louis area, but Shock City was the only place that looked like they knew what they were doing, at a reasonable price. I've been taking lessons for a few weeks now and I'M SO GLAD THAT I CHOSE THEM. From the get-go, Genny was incredibly responsive and thorough in explaining all of my options. I'm a recent college grad that works at a nonprofit, I don't have a ton of money to spend. Genny helped craft a pricing option for me that worked with my budget, and worked with me to find an instructor that was tailored to my specific goals. She led me to find an instructor, Liya, who has been AWESOME. Already on our first meeting, she made me feel comfortable and has brought a fun and playful attitude to our lessons in addition to her vast expertise. They record all of your lessons for you, so that you can review them and practice on your own time, and you can even message your instructor and ask questions through their TeacherZone program. I've already made significant improvements and I'm having a ton of fun! Thanks Shock City for giving me a platform to pursue my dreams!"

"At 88 Keys you have the ability to schedule lessons online around your busy schedule. You can cancel and reschedule online 24-7. We subscribe to a online site for all of our students. We provide students with a username and password so they can learn music theory online in between your lessons. We offer formal recital and several events throughout the year (playing at McAlister's Deli, Peel Brewing Co and the Lady of the Snows National Shrine) to keep students motivated."

"Carolyn Calahan gave my daughter piano lessons for about 10 years. We came to her after a disappointing teacher before her. I told my daughter we could try several teachers before picking one, but once she met Mrs. Calahan, she said, "I want her." She did not disappoint. Not only was she a fantastic teacher, she's a wonderful person who we still have a relationship with today, 16 years later. My daughter developed a love for piano that also continues today. I would recommend Carolyn Calahan to anyone."

"My kids are going for piano with Mary. She is an awesome teacher with lot of patience, as my younger daughter started when she was 3 1/2 yr old and that requires lot of patience. She knows her stuff very well. Well organized, flexible when she can. Love her spirit and she not only teaches the piano lessons but also little history behind the lessons. Overall very happy to have a teacher like her, both my kids really like her and enjoy the piano. "
