When planning a wedding, you know all the details that go into it but what you don’t realize is that all those little details, like remembering to wear your garter or getting all of the favors to your venue or gathering your bridal party and family for pictures, come on the day of the wedding and it can really make it where you can’t focus on actually enjoying it! Lucky for me, I had Adrienne, who made it to where I didn’t have to think about a single thing on my wedding day! I had the best day of my life that day and it was all thanks to her! She is not only a phenomenal wedding coordinator, she is so genuine and happy to be a part of making the most important day of your life perfect! Adrienne had listened to what I wanted and needed for my wedding, she anticipated what I didn’t even think of and she exceeded my expectations!

Christy Romano with R&R Event Specialists was the day of wedding coordinator for my wedding, November 5, 2016. Our wedding was in New Orleans and our venue had a very helpful onsite coordinator. However, two weeks prior to the wedding I panicked and was concerned that we needed additional day of support. I found Christy via Thumbtack. Her quick reply and eagerness to communicate with me was very refreshing. After speaking to her on the phone and going through our vision for the wedding with her, I felt instantly better (and that was just over the phone!) We made a quick decision to hire her and I can honestly say, it was one of the best wedding planning decisions that I made! Within the week, I sent, at Christy’s request, a day of timeline, pictures of our décor and how I envisioned it being laid out, a list of special people at the wedding, bridal party, etc. Her amazing communication skills and want for detailed information were definitely a plus and helped relax me in the week leading up to the big day. Christy met with myself, our venue coordinator, my mother and my groom the morning before the wedding. We had a sit down meeting onsite and went through our entire comprehensive timeline. We did a walkthrough of the venue and made our expectations and needs clear. Christy was on the ball and had great questions about things we hadn’t even considered, as well as suggestions. She was even thoughtful enough to bring me a bridal emergency kit for the next day. The day of the wedding went exactly as I had hoped. Once Christy arrived, I spent 20 minutes with her getting her everything she would need for decorating. After that, I was left to enjoy the morning drinking champagne and getting ready with my bridesmaids and family. Christy periodically checked in throughout the day to see if we needed anything and did a great job coordinating with our arriving vendors, so that myself or my mother didn’t have to. Our day was stressfree and just what I had hoped for. She helped to keep us on schedule (which was a bit tricky as we had many activities throughout the day: Firsty look, family photos, bridal party photos, bridals, cocktail hour, second line, reception, etc – all of which required movement around the French Quarter). And followed our detailed timeline to the letter (we had some décor transitions we wanted done during our Second Line and they went perfectly). During the wedding itself, Christy was there when I needed her and made herself very available to myself, my groom and my mother. We had Christy stay 30 minutes until after the end of our reception to complete the breakdown of wedding. This allowed all of my family to transition easily to the after party bar we had chosen without having to do any cleanup. The biggest surprise we had was our arrival to our bridal suite after the wedding. Christy decorated our suite beautifully. Our suite was filled with flowers , our 2nd line umbrellas, candles, etc. She even had copies of our vows placed out for us. She left us a ton of cake and leftovers (which of course we devoured immediately). How she had the time to perfect all the details in our suite and throughout the wedding, I will never know. She greatly exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend her for any event coordination. Christy is professional, thoughtful and excellent at her job. My fiancé and I a vision for our wedding, but I let Christy use her creative skills to execute, and she did it fantastically! Hiring R&R Event Specialists for your wedding is a must do!

    Susan and her team was on top of everything from calling us in the morning to check on everyone, making sure we were on schedule, to, the very last guest that left the reception. I had never meet Susan until the day of my Wedding since it was a destination wedding. I was a little worried that my ideas would be used but the minute I got out of limo, all my doubts were gone. The colors were a perfect match, the alter was decorated to my theme and colors. Then off to the reception, at Sea Coast Hall everything was picture perfect and the food was out of this word good homestyle cooking! I want to thank Susan and her team for my perfect WEDDING! I will be post pictures when they come back from the photographer.

    Gotta Lovett Catering created a beautiful reception for my wedding. Dennis handled everything! From decorating the tables and chairs, to getting every food and drink I wanted, and cleaning up the entire area afterwards. He ordered the exact same color of my bridesmaids dresses for our reception chairs and table runners. He staffed an open bar. He served the entire wedding party and created a successful buffet line. He constantly communicated with me for the six months prior and he offered me the best prices compared to others. I highly recommend Dennis and Gotta Lovett Catering for anyone, no matter how big or small your event!

      I initially contacted Kendra later than you would normally book the assistance of a wedding planner (I was running behind schedule and realized I had no idea about how to decorate a reception hall!) and she had no problem understanding my ideas and vision for my wedding and running with it. I am regularly traveling for work and was out of town for most of my engagement, which would make some people nervous. However, Kendra was so attentive to all my needs and ideas for decor that I felt so comfortable while I was away, and didn't have to worry about being bombarded with details because I knew Kendra would take care of it. On the day of the wedding everything ran so smoothly and she ensured the timeline went according to plan. I didn't have to worry about anything. With it being a brunch wedding, she also took time out of her busy schedule to ensure the reception and ceremony were decorated on time and beautifully with every detail being perfect. She made my special day so memorable and elegant!       NOLA Elite catered breakfast the morning of my wedding. Working with Mary was easy and wonderful. She worked with me to get exactly what I wanted for the breakfast. She showed up right on time. All the food was delicious and she even checked on everyone multiple times to see if anyone needed refills on drinks. It was wonderful to have such great service that morning and helped me stay relaxed for such a big day. I would definitely recommend to use them for all events.

Her passion for perfection, bubbly personality, and creative flair and ease to work with because in addition to catering she is a certified wedding planner made me feel comfortable she will deliver the wedding of our dreams.
