Dave and team provided bartending services for small wedding at the Capital Club in downtown Asheville. We brought the alcohol; they brought absolutely everything else needed -- mixers, tools, and supplies. But they brought so much more as well -- helpful attitudes, friendly conversation, and over the top service. It turned the bar from just a drink station into an entertainment center. The guests absolutely loved him, and the bride and groom were amazed that Dave always had a drink ready for them whenever they needed one. Highly recommend!

Personal Southern Gourmet (Michelle Nielson) has been a Godsend for our catering needs. We were opening 4 new retail locations in Greenville, and to ease the transition for our new associates, we were providing lunch throughout the first few weeks of opening. We had some food allergies to work around (gluten, tomatoes, peppers, and some nuts), and I was also tasked with providing variety of food each day rather than ordering sandwiches each day like would often be the case when ordering from the usual chains. Since I have coordinated lunch catering as an aspect of my job for several years now, I knew it could get complicated with multiple restaurants - would the food all arrive as ordered, and would it be on time? I was also organizing this from another state and Greenville, SC, was unfamiliar territory for me. I knew I had my work cut out for me and allotted quite a bit of time to finding restaurants that could meet our needs, expecting to then come up with a plan of *who* to order *what* catering from each day. I was up for the challenge. But it turned out not to be a challenge at all when I stumbled across Thumbtack during my research and submitted a request just to see if I received any quotes. Michelle sent me a quote almost immediately for providing lunch *each* day... I realized I would not need to keep track of different orders with different companies, AND she could provide a varied menu, AND she could work around the food allergies, AND she could split deliveries between the 4 locations as needed, AND the cost was comparable to other vendors. She put a menu together for me... Home-cooked real food! I knew my team would love the meals, and I was right! In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how many of them voiced it, and how often. Once the time came to start catering and delivering food, Michelle has been on-time, pleasant, sought feedback on the meals and adapted future menus as we went. In fact, during the second week of catering I discovered a couple of food allergies I had not known about, and when I told Michelle, she adapted immediately. If it did not make sense to adapt the meal for the entire group, she has always been prepared with a separate meal for those associates with food allergies when needed (i.e. the same thing without the nuts or pepper spices, or a gluten-free banana pudding). Amazingly, when she does adapt a meal for food allergies, it has still tasted fabulous – sometimes associates have expressed wanting the recipe for *those* meals! To sum it up, besides providing quality home-cooked meals, Personal Southern Gourmet has been adaptable to food allergies and menu changes, easy, reliable, on-time, reasonably-priced and pleasant to work with. My team has not stopped talking about how good the food is, and my boss herself was the first to call and tell me. She has asked me to put Personal Southern Gourmet on our list of go-to vendors to continue using in Greenville. We are loyal customers of Michelle Nielson now.

Hopeys ( Faith Ray) catered a taco bar for a special event at our church. There were 125 people served and everyone raved on how tasty and fresh it was. There was enough leftover to serve another night. Everything from the Spanish rice to the homemade guacamole were delicious
