Beware of this company. I had a door installed about a year and a half ago, and it’s still not finished. The lock was never installed or fixed correctly, leaving my home unsecured for over a year. The same issues are happening with a second door I purchased — nearly $10,000 worth of work in total. Customer service has been terrible. Calls and messages often go unanswered, and promised manager call-backs never happen. Their only “solution” after all this time was to replace the lock. The quality of work and service is extremely disappointing. I do not work for your company, and I am not responsible for your technicians’ paperwork or for ensuring they follow your internal policies. I was never informed of the procedures you referenced in your previous message. I also recall three different salespeople in my home who made assurances that did not align with what ultimately happened. And while I am not a door installation technician, I relied on the expertise of your staff. When your worker showed me the door could lock, while having to manipulate it in ways I would not have known to do, I trusted his assessment. When the lock repeatedly failed for me afterward, I reached out again, as any reasonable customer would. Your team came out three times and never replaced the lock. They only attempted to adjust what was already there, and no one ever mentioned the solution you are offering now. If I had not followed up again this summer, none of this would have been addressed. The fact is, the process fell through the cracks on your end. There was supposed to be a work order for the new door’s lock to be fixed that never materialized, and during the installation of the second door, I explicitly reminded the installers that the first door still did not lock. They told me it would be handled afterwards when they came back to fix the second door, yet I heard nothing for months. I was the one who had to reach out to get this moving again, which is why I’m confused by the reaction to my frustration. My concern has always been basic security, and throughout this experience, the service has been sub-par and inattentive. I am frustrated and disappointed by how this has been handled. Once the lock is finally repaired, you will not need to worry about further contact from me. I do not intend to continue doing business with your company. And to be clear, the only reason I purchased the second door from you was because I believed the first issue would be resolved in a reasonable timeframe and I wanted to secure pricing before the tariff increases, not because I was satisfied with the service.
