FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once you provide the details of your project, I’ll immediately send over a rough quote. If the price aligns with your budget, we’ll move forward by scheduling a day to come out, take precise measurements, and get your glass into production.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here’s how the process works: Initial Assessment: We’ll schedule a time for me to come out and assess your window or glass needs. During this visit, I’ll take measurements and explain the full procedure for removal and reinstallation. Quote & Estimate: After the visit, I submit the measurements to my manufacturer and prepare a detailed estimate. This will include the cost of the glass/windows, materials, labor, and applicable taxes. I will send this to you via call, text, and email (if provided). Deposit & Production: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before any materials are ordered. The remaining 50% is due upon job completion. Please note: there are no refunds after a deposit is made. Manufacturing Timeline: Once the deposit is cleared, I place the glass order. Production typically takes 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the style and type of glass selected. Installation Scheduling: As soon as your custom glass is ready, I’ll contact you to schedule a convenient installation date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My career in the glass industry began with hands-on, real-world experience—traveling across the U.S. as a commercial subcontractor for the first 3 to 4 years. That journey exposed me to large-scale projects, high expectations, and fast-paced environments, sharpening my skills and work ethic from day one. Eventually, I made the decision to plant roots here in the Carolinas. I shifted my focus to residential glass work, learning the intricacies of custom installations, client interaction, and the precision required for home projects. This transition made me highly versatile in my trade—equally confident with commercial storefronts or a custom frameless shower. With a strong foundation in both sectors and years of on-site training under my belt, I took a leap of faith and launched my own company. Today, I proudly run Recovered Glass LLC, where I blend skill, service, and integrity into every job I take on. This business wasn’t just built on experience—it was built on purpose.
