Great to work with and great work. Hire this contractor!
You will not find a better concrete contractor.
Bottom line, Phil knows carpentry. We had a tough situation here at the Town of Morrisville where some contractor built soffits out of a cheap material that appeared to be drywall and it all started falling apart. Not only did Phil give me the best price to replace the soffits with vinyl but he did an excellent job and did it rather quickly. I would highly recommend this company. For me, Craftsman Unlimited Carpentry is on the top of my list for carpentry contractors. If you are in the Morrisville area, stop by and see the magic he did on our bathroom soffits at the Morrisville Community Park bathrooms at the end of the entrance road. For carpentry, Phil is the man!
The jobs was to level the end of our driveway and install a french drain next to the house. The old driveway was almost a foot thick at its thickest point. Bruce completed the work in three days. The drain works exactly as advertised and the driveway no longer has a car scraping bump at the end of it. I was very pleased with how professional, courteous, and timely the contractors were. I would recommend this company to anyone needing concrete work done at their house.
TRC did an excellent job of creating a new 3' x 35' sidewalk path for the side of our house. I asked him to create a patterned / colorful walkway so it wouldn't look like boring cement. We think it turned out really nice, cobblestone look in a gray/blue tone. They work fast and do great work. This is my 2nd time using TRC, they did such a great job on the foundation (on the right of the photo).
Water Damaged due to inadequate waterproofing.(Removal of patio door, decking boards, exterior wall 4x12 up from foundation,3 I joists and Vinyl Siding). Mr. Richardson came as a recommendation by someone he had work for over the years. Called him on a Sunday afternoon and he was able to come out within 2.5 hours of my call. Before he was done looking over the job and explain the circumstances to me he was hired. Hired because he didnt try to talk numbers but solution to the problem. See other contractors came in and all I heard was $$$$$ without letting me know the solution. Mr. Richardson, explained my problem so that I was able to fully understand the work ahead of us and then told me that he would need to go back and look at materials, permit, inspection rules for the type of work he was about to do and then he can provide an estimate. He also warmed me that an estimate will be provide based on what he can see, but may or may not increase once he starts to remove the damaged materials. Well the cost did go up, but it was not a shock to the system since I was informed up. The work was done properly and along the way he would show/explain either an issue or resolution. Work was done within the promised time frame, past inspection with flying colors and I was very pleased with the end results. The inspector that came out to do inspections at different point of the work had nothing but positive feedback. With his comments I knew that I had hire the right person for the job. Word to the wise, dont judge a book by the cover. Because someone doesnt show up in a F150 or company name on the pocket of their shirt doesnt mean he cannot do a good job. Licensing and recommendation is the key. I started off with the big names and ended up with a small, but reprebiale individual. Mr. Richardson is a contractor, that takes pride in his work and he does it with excellence.
WOW! After an extensive search of local landscape design companies (online, google, and even joining Angie's List), we narrowed it down to 2 companies: AMA Landscape Design and one other local business. We called both businesses just to get a feel for what they were like to work with, as well as to inquire about an initial consult/estimate. The first thing that struck me when I called AMA Landscape Design was how professional AND personable Adam Fitch (business owner) was to speak with. Admittedly, I knew very little about Landscape Design and in retrospect, had a very vague idea at best of what I wanted for my home exterior. But Adam was patient and knowledgable enough to guide my wife and me through the process of figuring out what we envisioned for our home. He then created an amazing design plan that made us both happy, AND helped us fine-tune the details to remain within our budget. And so Project "Livingston Home Makeover" began. What impressed me and my wife about Mr. Fitch and his crew was that from beginning to end, EVERY person from AMA who came onto our property during the project was truly respectful (and I mean in speaking to us, never leaving trash or food wrappers to blow around the job site, and working HARD instead of just lazily waiting for their shift to end). Mr. Fitch regularly made sure we were up-to-date on the status of the entire project, including any progress made AND any hurdles/delays encountered along the way. But the very best part was, of course, the completion of the project. We are still just blown away with the home we have today- I actually enjoy coming home and pulling into the driveway, and so proud of our home. Welcoming company into our home used to start with a bit of a cringe until they got up the sidewalk and inside. Not anymore! From the lawn and landscaping, to the hardscaped updates and the overall easy to maintain exterior of our home has been such a blessing. I can't express just how highly I recommend Mr. Fitch and AMA Landscape Design, but we couldn't be happier with our experience. Photos to come!
Wilson, the owner/operator of The Rock Remodeling, did a shower pan and a new shower valve, and did an excellent job. I've hired more than my share of contractors, and can honestly say that Wilson is top-notch. His dedication to service is apparent the moment you meet him, and it doesn't fade once you hire him. I will definitely look to hire Wilson for future jobs.
Installed metal lawn edging, Michael knew the detail of landscaping of our property. He informed us of the methods and recomended the right height of the lawn edging. He was quick and left the sidewalks swept and neat. I highly recommend the Natural Scapes Lawn company!
I called several contractors (12 to be exact) and received a call-back from eight, one being AMC Contractoring. Carlos, the owner was professional, prompt and thorough; he scheduled someone out to assess the work within a day and showed up himself for most of the work on every day of the project. We hired AMC to get our house ready for sale and Carols respected our budget and event found additional ways for us to save money and make the project better. We had to make a small change to how we wanted to repair some damage, and Carols quickly amended our quote with no delay to the start of the work. I noticed later that some paint in a room looked off and Carlos came out the same day to repaint the room. The thing is, I was mistaken and the room was not part of the original project. Carlos laughed it off and said that it was both of our mistakes and didn't even charge us for the extra room. I've never met a contractor who was willing to build-up a relationship rather than build-up an invoice. For that reason AMC is now working on a project to get my monther's house ready for sale as I write this review. Even better, AMC's cost was competitive (no hidden fees, as was the case with several of the other quotes) and the quality of the work was excellent. We will definitely use AMC's services again in the future.
Rick replaced a few sidewalk squares for me that were uneven as well as fix a large crack in my brick front steps. Great job, Great price!
Does quality work and reasonably priced!
Project Concrete did a great job at putting down the extra concert for a extended parking pad and connecting the sidewalk up to a lading into the garage. It looks awesome and at a fair and reasonable cost.
I was terrified about undergoing a remodel of two bathrooms. GreyHouse took away all my anxiety. Every aspect of the project was handled with professionalism from the initial proposal down to the finished project. They kept me informed of the work schedule and all of their workers were conscientious about keeping mess and disruption to a minimum. I love the end results and would highly recommend greyHouse.
Verry pleasant experience, our project was done on time and INTO the budget. They will do more home improvement projects for us
