Mr. Harden is wonderful. He's very knowledgeable and patient. This is by far the best option for music lessons.
J-Mack is an awesome teacher & guitarist. I have been taking guitar lessons from him for several months & he has inspired me to continue to improve & I have learned more than I thought possible. The lessons are fun and never feel like work, even though you learn a ton. The lesson book, that he has created & designed, shows his extensive knowledge in music, theory & guitar specifically. He formulates his teaching style to how the student learns & teaches students who are brand new to guitar to seasoned players. I appreciate his knowledge, patience & ability to make things fun while I learn so much. Thanks, J-Mac!
Se habla Espanol. Hi. My name is Rudy Rivera, and I am a music teacher and sound engineer. Do you want to learn how to sing or play a musical instrument? Do you need to record or master your music? Are you tired of having your songs only on a piece of paper? Do you need instrumentals for your lyrics? Well, I teach guitar, bass, piano, drums and voice lessons! I am very easy to get along with, and I'm here to guide you and help you in the world of music, offering you the easiest and fastest ways for you to learn. It is only $15-$20 an hour lesson! This is depending on what type of instrument you want to learn. The price for in-home lessons vary depending on how far away you live from me. The pricing for recordings and mastering vary depending on the amount of songs you wish to record. The pricing for music productions (instrumentals) vary depending on how complicated your songs are. Come and take your first lesson or record your first song, and if you don't like the results, don't pay a dime!
my daughter has taken guitar lessons with Chris for almost 2 years now and she is really enjoying it. He adapts the lesson to focus on her music interests. She really enjoys her lessons.
My daughter Jilayla started piano lessons the end of last year and I am amazed at how much she has flourished and her love for music. She's so excited when it's time for her lessons. Brother Demetrius makes learning the piano fun & is careful to stay on her level without overwhelming her. He praises and encourages her often, she loves the class & I'm thankful for his great teaching.
My son went to the introduction to music camp last summer. He was shown several instruments throughout the week. Some of which included drums, organ, electric guitar, accordion, piano, acoustic guitar and violin. It was a nice overview for him and helped me to see if there was any instrument in particular he would want to play more than another. He really enjoyed the class and liked that they recorded their own original music. I liked that he was learning some new things and that I was able to come and hear a concert of the kids music at the end of the week.
When it comes to learning to play the guitar, we live in an unprecedented age of unlimited access to instructional material and lesson presentations, so why bother to pay money to a guitar teacher when you can just learn to play on YouTube? Hi, my name is Robert Bussey, and I'll explain to you why. Even in this modern technical age, true musicianship is best acquired when it's passed down from a seasoned, professional musician, especially when it includes training and coaching. Having an experienced instructor observing you as you play and having you make adjustments in your hand positions, helping you to achieve optimum articulation and correcting faulty techniques can save you countless hours of frustration that will occur by trying to imitate what you see on YouTube. Believe me when I tell you that I am all about using the latest technology and apps-related programs for learning and practicing the guitar but when I think back to when I took lessons, and my teacher put me through those old Alfred's method books and taught me to read music, I am forever grateful that he did that! It gave me an edge and confidence in my abilities and more than once, has landed me gigs that I otherwise would not have been qualified for had I not learned to read music. Do I require my students to read staff notation? No. Tablature has become so commonplace that most anything that one would want to learn is offered in tab format; so learning to read music for guitar has become somewhat of a lost art but for those who are up for the challenge, I have developed an approach that makes it not all that difficult, and I have some very cool stuff planned! Have you ever heard of the California Guitar Trio? If not, look them up on YouTube and get ready to hear some astounding and inspiring guitar performances! Learning to play guitar as part of a guitar trio ensemble can be an exhilarating way to learn guitar. To you, parents, wouldn't you rather have your child learning and jamming with a group of peers rather than closed up playing alone in their bedroom? Talk about some added accountability! The goal is to eventually offer performance opportunities and create some amazing musical memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. I guarantee that YouTube can't give you that. Regarding the music selections, were not talking the formal, antiquated classical approach either. We're talking classic and modern guitar rock as well as the music of Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and Queen! For those desiring private lessons, my "Electric Boardwalk" program is designed for those students who are interested in the various rock styles, such as metal, shred, classic rock, modernist/prog rock, and electric blues. My acoustic boardwalk program is designed for those wanting to pursue acoustic rock, singer-songwriter, fingerstyle and roots or ethnic styles. So if this is something you would be interested in doing, then let's get the ball rolling! Rates are reasonable, and I do offer a free trial lesson so that you can make the best informed decision if this is really for you.
My children have been taking piano lessons with 7Keys Music for about 6 months now and are doing very well. We all enjoy our teacher, Yekaterina. She is patient with the children yet firm when it is necessary. It is a pleasure to have her in our home each week. Crystal, the owner, has worked with me to accommodate our schedule and make changes when necessary. She is always kind and prompt in responding to me. We are very pleased with 7Keys Music and will continue to use them for our musical instruction.

Secondly, it is our aim to make them feel loved and successful at making beautiful music. It is important that students enjoy making music. Throughout our teaching, it has always been our goal to instill a lifelong love of good music and to insure that the children would make music a part of their lives long after lessons have ceased. * Private music lessons: For most people, individual private lessons are at the heart of a well-rounded musical education. We have found that private one-on-one instruction allows students to progress at their own paces and gain the best understanding of musical techniques. We are committed to finding the program of study that is appropriate for each student. After consulting with our faculty representative, the student is assigned to an instructor based on teaching style, scheduling needs and goals. The student and instructor will meet once a week at the agreed-upon time slot and day of week. You will then receive a one-on-one attention that will really speed you along toward meeting your goals. Students can start private lessons as young as three and a half years old. Students can start private lessons any time of the year or month, so there's no need to wait to get started. A variety of styles are taught such as pop, jazz, gospel, and classical. We teach the following lessons: * Piano * Guitar * Violin * Voice * Percussion * Mandolin * Electric Bass * Acoustic Guitar * Jazz Piano * Gospel Piano In aiding to achieve each student's goals, lessons are taught from well-known piano method books, which are supplemented with other music repertoire and studying materials by our instructors. Beginning piano students will learn basic music techniques, note reading, and rhythm. Intermediate and advanced students will build upon these basic skills while also determining which style of music they would most like to play. Lessons progress through succeeding years, helping the students continually improve their musicianship and mastery of their chosen instrument or voice. The student prepares for important performances, auditions, or entry in the company level program to further refine his or her skills. Students are encouraged to participate in ensembles, festivals, competitions, and our many recitals held at CPCC Tate Hall. * Master classes: Master classes are a wonderful way to get an in-depth look into the music business. Classes are designed to have an individual who is current in the music industry instruct a class. Instructors include anyone from celebrities, TV/radio personalities, Broadway stars, university professors, etc. Students' pieces are critiqued, and they are given pointers to improve their techniques, their discipline and their crafts.
