My son has been taking Guitar lessons from Shane for several years. Shane has a very easy going encouraging approach to teaching that has really allowed my son to learn and develop confidence. Shane has followed my son's personal interests and allows him to play many different musical genres. Shane is very professional and always on time. Highly recommended.

This is the first time my son is learning Piano lessons. He is in kindergarten and is very naughty. Carly knows how to accommodate him very nicely. She is very patient and makes the lessons more interesting and fun. My son always waits for Fridays because Fridays are his piano lessons. I will highly recommend her.

We started working with Justin over the summer break and we have been very pleased. Communicating and scheduling with Justin has been easy and his guitar lessons have been very helpful for our 12 year-old son.

My daughter is a tough nut to crack. She loves her guitar lessons but is basically silent. I love that Kevin takes that, is still himself, and teaches her!

Paul is a great guitar teacher! He is always very friendly, patient, and encouraging during our lessons. He is also always available via text in case you have any guitar related questions, which is super helpful and generous. It’s evident that he truly cares about his students’ progress, and he does a great job planning each lesson to ensure his students get the most out of each week.

First lesson; wife and I back to back. Kelli is very approachable, has a beautiful voice and is a good match for us regarding song/music styles. We're both happy about how we're starting out; seems like a good approach for us. I already play guitar and need vocal help for song/praise/worship scenarios as well as strength for public speaking; Kelli is focused on our needs and interest.

My boys love their guitar lessons with Adam. He tailors each lesson to their personalities / music likes and is very patient. He has really inspired them to become better guitar players. He has also been very flexible with lesson time/dates as the boys schedules are a bit hectic with sports / school, etc. So glad we found Adam!

I have been one of Suzanne's guitar students for several years in an evening group lesson situation at a local high school. I like Suzanne's enthusiasm and creativity in a lesson environment. I also admire how quickly she can deconstruct a song and make it playable for the class. Suzanne does an excellent job of balancing learning new songs and teaching the theory behind them without slowing down the fun. Her students seem to quickly pick up the guitar and enjoy playing it almost from day one. I especially like that there is "no fault" if an adult student has trouble finding time to practice between lessons. Of course, without practice, it is hard to improve quickly. Sometimes we work on a song that isn't one I'd choose. But this exposes me to other music genres and provides new learning elements. Suzanne asks us for input of which songs we'd like to learn, so the occassional "dud" song isn't really a problem. As the skills of the class continue to improve, it might be interesting to have class members bring a song to discuss/improve with input from their peers and Suzanne - think of a writer's workshop. For a fun guitar lesson experience, I highly recommend Suzanne.

    About

If you want to learn how to play the guitar from a passionate, dedicated musician, then you have come to the right place! I work one-on-one with students of any age (beginning-intermediate) to help them get the feel for how to form chords correctly and then how to turn those chords into songs, using different strumming patterns and techniques...and have fun doing it! My pricing is reasonable, and I have good package deals for new students. I am looking for those students who really want to learn the craft of guitar playing so they can enjoy it and even play out at local open mics if they want to with me! I play out with a couple of bands, including a duo with my wife - see the link above. Let me know if this is something you have always wanted to do - I can help you make it happen.

I offer beginner acoustic guitar and mandolin lessons. I travel to the comfort of your own home. I have been playing for 15 years and have been teaching for about three years. I love what I do and love to see new students learn and advance.

    About

We love music, and we really care about providing high quality instruction that is individualized to each student's needs. We want them to love music as much as we do!

    About

Have you ever desired to play Beethoven's Fur Elise of Sonatas, the Theme to Star Wars or Harry Potter, or just Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star? Have you ever wanted a talent that will relieve stress, dazzle others, or enable you to play what you hear on the radio? You want to learn the piano, or give a child the gift of music that will last a lifetime. I can help. I teach beginning piano to all ages. The first lesson is a free trial, so the student can evaluate my teaching. I can also teach viola lessons. I can also refer the students to more advanced (and expensive) teachers when they are past the point that I can teach them. I also play the pipe organ for Tabernacle Baptist in Raleigh and accompany 3 choirs on piano and organ.

I'm not sure what qualifies as advanced, but I am a gigging guitarist in a local band playing primarily blues/funk/jazz influenced singer-songwriter stuff and want to add structure to my development as a player. Particular areas of interest are theory development and growing as a songwriter on guitar. We can discuss more if this sounds like a good fit.
