Julie made absolutely delicious food for my event and all of my guests raved about how tasty it was. She was wonderful to communicate with leading up to the event and was very easy to work with. She jumped on with my vision quickly and was able to offer a perfectly suited menu.
We hired Dan for our Neighborhood Block Party on June 13th. He was WONDERFUL! He is skilled at his trade and had a great rapport with all of the visitors to our event. I have worked with Staff from Gem Decorations for several events. She has done a fabulous job each and every occasion. I highly recommend Gem Decorations, she is professional, organized, manages her time well, her prices are fair and she makes sure you get what you asked. My guest always are impressed with the quality of work and it has made my events an experience they will never forget (and neither will I). Service was A+. Cynthia and her Assistant moved 2 heavy pieces of furniture for me. Then, they hung drapery brackets, rods, and curtains. They secured 3 very heavy mirrors to the walls in different rooms using a "stud finder." They hung up all my Art using a special velcro-type item guaranteed to NOT damage paint, Art or wall. They even trimmed the rug pad that was too large for the rug! Best of all, they were roughly half the price of the other 2 bids I received via Thumbtack!! I will be recommending Nimble Conciege to everyone I know needing a handyman, furniture mover, unpacking help, or decorating assistance.
I wish I could choose more options because John did a fantastic job at our party. The photo booth was a hit with everyone! I’m sorry to say I forgot the woman’s name who was helping John but she was great interacting and engaging people into the event. I will definitely look to use TPF in the future! We are still working on final details of our event, but Valerie has responded to any and all requests/inquiries so quickly. It has been a pleasure working with her, and I am excited to see how she pulls it all together on the day of our event!
We hired Julie for our Daughter’s September 17 wedding and her “Day of Wedding Coordinator Services”, and were extremely satisfied with her professional services. Our Daughter and her Fiancé rented a 5-bedroom house on a picturesque lake in Westminster to host their outdoor wedding. They wanted a relaxed family party vibe, with no full service caterer, no servers or bartenders, and no DJ. As a former wedding consultant, I knew that I could not be both an impartial consultant and the Mother-of-the-Bride. We searched the area, found Something Bleu, and after chatting with Julie briefly, realized that she would be perfect for our daughter’s wedding. Julie reviewed our Daughter’s final to-do lists, and believe it or not, day-of event Gantt charts. She met everyone the evening before the wedding to supervise the ceremony rehearsal and review the reception. The next morning she arrived early and worked with family and friends to set the tables, place flowers and decorations, and sign off on food delivery. More importantly, she was at all times our eyes and ears behind the scenes, and kept everything flowing seamlessly throughout the day. Julie’s assistance was absolutely essential in making the day the huge success that it was. Her special touches and suggestions were most welcome, and I highly recommend her.

We decided to hire Beth for our wedding after a booking a venue in which we'd have to take care of everything from the catering to the decor. I knew I wouldn't be able to manage it all on my own, and I was so afraid that I'd overlook some crucial detail, so I really wanted to hire someone who would take care of it all, and boy did she exceed my expectations! She is incredibly responsive, full of great suggestions, and she was able to get us discounts on many of our vendors. She really helped me to streamline my thoughts and ideas so that we came up with a cohesive vision for the day. She is so positive and energetic, and anytime I was stressed, I'd give her a call, and she'd have me feeling better in no time. When I arrived at the ceremony and I saw her standing there with her clipboard, I almost cried with relief because I was so happy to see her, hahaha! I was really, really nervous about our venue - we brought in everything from the lighting to furniture, and there was a LOT of work to be done. I was so afraid that my ideas would turn out to be tacky or that the room wouldn't look good, and I had no chance to see it until I arrived at the reception, and I was BLOWN AWAY by what she did. She made it even more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined. We are still receiving compliments a month later. Not only did she do all of the decorating, but she also did all of the hard labor - the woman was on ladders hanging lights, moving tables and chairs, setting tables, etc. On top of all of that, she dealt with last minute fires that came up (like when the parking facility I had paid for mistakenly turned guests away - Beth was ON IT) and cranky relatives who didn't like their seating assignment. Hiring her was THE BEST decision we made in regard to the wedding and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I often joke that I wish I could hire Beth to run everything in my life now! If I ever plan another event, she will be the very first person I call!
Luna Event planning, and Joanna in particular, is am amazing organization/person. She made my wedding day feel so special, and on a small budget (plus short notice). I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinated, organized consultant who is always on the ball.
When we spoke to Nimra for the first time, we were unsure of who we wanted to use as our event decorator. Nimra gave us her quotes and details of what she is going to include. We had a clear idea of what we wanted. She allowed us to ask questions and discuss our ideas. Every time we asked her if something we wanted to do was possible, she found a way to make it work. She was really flexible to changes and also gave us her ideas for more options that would look better. She made the entire process very easy. She is quick to reply to all the questions through email and also through texting. She also made sure she answered every question we had. She is very punctual about timings and arrived well before the event for setup. Also would like to mention that she visited our event venue couple weeks before the event date so to plan the decoration setup early and not to keep any last minute surprises. She did a great job and the decoration setup was exactly how we wanted. Everyone liked the decoration. We are happy that we decided to go with Nimra for our event. Thank you Nimra!!

I have used Gail Putnam and Balloon Creations to provide balloon decorations for three different events in the last six years. In each case Gail was easy to work with, ready to make suggestions about the decor we wanted, and completely responsive to any changes or modifications we requested. For two different graduation parties, she helped decorate our backyard tent with both centerpieces and balloon arches, along with balloons at the front of the house. In both cases, I gave her a color scheme, some basic ideas, and she created the perfect balloons. For my daughter's sweet sixteen party, we had a tropical beach theme and she made balloon clusters with tropical beach colors and palm tree weights to hold them down. She also created 8-foot palm trees made out of balloons to line the dance floor! It was spectacular! Gail Putnam and Balloon Creations has been consistently excellent, always reliable, and remarkably reasonable with pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend Balloon Creations to anyone and I will absolutely hire them in the future if I'm fortunate enough to have a special event to celebrate.
I needed a caterer for an event that I was having, and was given Stacey Blounts name and info. I was very satisfied with his professionalism and his food! He answered any and all questions that I had, he was easy to get in contact with and I never had to wait, he was always on point. He was on time, my guests loved him and his food! He was very personable! He will definitely be hired for my next event!
We just had a beautiful and fabulous event and all credits go to Rohini from marigold. We couldn't have done it without the guidance and planning of Marigold. It was a well put together event and and completely stress free for us. We were able to enjoy our event because Rohini planned/designed it well and took care of everything thing for us. Marigold worked very well with us and kept everything we wanted in mind while executing the event. Maigold made sure that all my ideas were made reality and gave me a beautifully coordinated event. One thing what I really liked is that, first and foremost Rohini designed the whole event and created a plan right after our first meeting. And there after everything was done in a planned and timely fashion. Rohini has great ideas and is very creative. I wouldn't have thought of these ideas in a million years. Marigold took care of budgeting, planning, designing, decorations, flowers, shopping, program, entertainment, timing, and all the other arrangements. We got better and good prices from all the vendors she had linked us with. Another thing that I really liked about Rohini was that she was calm and happy at all times and kept a positive energy all the time. We had time constraints and very busy schedules, so having Marigold on board was a great decision and big relief. Marigold worked very hard for my event and I am truly thankful and highly recommend Marigold. I am so glad I hired Marigold.
