I was taking drum lessons with Rob last year and a little bit the year before that. He always was the person that could teach me things the best. I could understand how he explained things and he would give me pages of exercises to take home so I could practice and make sure I understood the topic. In the time I took lessons with him, I learned more than I did from any drum teacher. We even got into more crazier styles like afro-cuban beats and up-tempo swing. It was always something interesting. I mean it when I say that he was the best teacher ive had :) -Julian Pyle
Sam is an excellent drum instructor! I have been playing drums most of life and have taken lessons from many teachers. But none have been as instrumental as Sam in propelling my drumming skills to new heights. Whether in-person or via Skype, Sam's lessons are effective, professional, and responsive.
I left my drum lesson with Patrick all fired up! Patrick covered the basics for me, as someone brand new to playing drums, in a way that covered a ton of territory while getting me playing and improving by the end of the hour. I appreciated Patrick's embodied approach to drums, encompassing ergonomics and the physicality as well as the mental part of playing. He incorporated examples from music I knew and his enthusiasm and broad knowledge for drumming came through. I can't comment on his punctuality, as I was running behind schedule, but he was accommodating and responsive. His rate was not the cheapest I was quoted, but his expertise, clarity, and personableness were well worth his rate. Highly recommended!
My son has been going for drum lessons to Dan for about 5 months now. Dan is a good teacher. He is very patient and encouraging and Dan has been able to help my son with his love for drumming. His hand and foot coordination is getting better and he is always looking forward to drum classes. Dan is a professional and easy to work with, fun and punctual. He makes his class a learning experience without compromising on the enjoyment.
Mr. Davis is a great teacher. He taught my child the piano and drums. He has a great personality and works well with children. I definitely recommend his service!
No reason in the world you should not take drum lessons with Jon. He is very encouraging for improvement, patient, and energetic when it comes to progress. All around great guy too!
I am an aspiring rap and R&B producer. I have been producing music for 6 years and I've been an avid drummer for 12. Since I started producing with a background in drumming, my productions were very advanced drum wise, but I was always hesitant to learn theory beyond playing C Major and looking at Piano scale charts. Theory always seemed daunting to learn. While I was growing creativity and technical in all fronts, my lack of theory became a crutch. Andy sat down with me and broke down scales, chords, general theory tremendously well. Since my learning needs are far different from traditional piano education, Andy has able to accommodate me and shift the lesson plans to what I feel is most important. I'm not trying trying to learn how to play 'Marry has a Little Lamb'. I'm trying to make music that moves people, and through lessons with Andy, I'll be were I need to be in due time. Highly recommend him.
I was looking to get my granddaughter some voice lessons. The lessons just started but so far Sherry is doing a great job! She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for singing lessons.
Serious about learning the drumset? Charlie is your guy. Great teacher, always improving his game both as an educator and a player. Great guy, cares about his students progress. You better practice too! Charlie teaches out of love for the instrument, if you don't practice he may just refer you somewhere else! He is one of the area's best-kept secrets.

Drum lessons offered at your location by a Berklee College of Music graduate with 20+ years of performing and teaching experience.
My name is John Dickinson and I am a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music. I've been teaching private drum lessons for a few years now to students of all levels and ages 35 minutes outside of Philadelphia in the town of Kennett Square, PA. I focus on teaching groove, good time, learning to listen more to the music when playing, listening and playing different styles of music, and most importantly, I remind my students to get out there and play with other musicians. I try to keep my lessons fun but at the same time making sure my students keep up with the material I give them. Please contact me if you or someone you know (whether it be a friend, cousin, or your child) wants to start taking drum lessons. Thanks. -John
I give drum lessons to anyone who needs them. I will help you to develop your ability to play all around. I do speed coordination, rhythm, and the rudimental aspect of playing your drums.
I have been playing drums for over 13 years and have several years of teaching experience. Some of the professional teachers I have studied with include professors at the University of the Arts, Drexel University in Philadelphia, and the renowned Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Israel. To develop a lesson plan that caters to the specific needs of individual students, I take the best techniques and methods from all my teachers and master classes with famous drummers like Steve Smith, John Riley, Mike Clark, Efrain Toro, and many more, and combine them with my own teachings. I can teach many different styles such as rock, jazz, metal, funk, hip-hop, and different Latin styles. My drum and recording studio is located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where lessons can be held; but I can also come to you. The first lesson is free! No obligations thereafter.
I am a drum maker of all types, including djembe ashiko, dun-dun, conga, bongos, cajanos, snare drums, Native American drums, bomba drums, candomba drums and bombo drums. I also teach drum lessons and do a monthly drum circle. I do school programs and corp. programs. I am making some of the world's best drums, cut from a solid log of wood.
I am bringing over 50 years of drumming experience, including 22 years of teaching music in the Philadelphia School District. I possess a vast knowledge of various genres of drumming. I can teach from reading music to improvisational skills.
I offer guitar, bass and drum lessons for students of all ages and ability levels. My lessons are convenient and time saving, as I come to your home.
