My husband and I used RJC Studios for our wedding DJ/MC, lighting, and photobooth. During the planning process, Robert was both extremely professional but also fun and easy to talk to. He had lots of print-outs with general wedding planning advice which really shows that he cares about his clients and he got really excited about my lighting ideas which made ME really excited! Everything was flawless on my wedding day (10/22/2016). We had to do the ceremony inside due to rain, but the mic was perfect and there was no audio feedback or problems. The cocktail hour music played exactly as I wanted it to and at a perfect volume. The main banquet room looked GORGEOUS and I am forever grateful for Robert for creating the starry night/galaxy ceiling that I had wanted so badly. It was SO cool, everyone loved it, and I can't wait to see the photos! The actual DJ/MC portion went perfectly as well, the music was always on-point and exactly what we wanted. For our first dance, we wanted one or two lines from the song "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters to be ... magically "erased". I don't know what to call it, but he knew exactly what I meant and just magically took it out. It made the song even more beautiful and I really appreciated how willing he was to do anything we needed. Craig the MC was incredibly friendly, helpful, and funny. I thought I would have to coordinate things like the order of people for reception introductions, but he came out and did it for me. Really nice having him there and his MC'ing was great, he even made some small announcements when asked to alert people to some of the extra little activities we had. The photobooth was also the highest quality one I've ever been in. The lighting was very flattering (trust me, very important) and they could print several strips so everyone was sure to get one. Robert showed me how we could use a green-screen and give our guests two options-- one with a galaxy background for normal people and one with Star Wars backgrounds for the nerds in our lives (our theme was space/galaxy so we wanted to have some nerdy elements in the details). Let me tell you, I am so thankful he gave me that choice because people had a total blast with it!! The staff gave us the photobooth-guestbook the night-of, a black high-quality album that we got to look at the next morning over coffee. Absolutely money well-spent. The photobooth operator ladies were also super polite and fun and were very tolerant of our crazy loud and drunk guests. I appreciate that. :) Overall, I have 0 negative things to say about RJC Studios. The price was right within our budget and they deserve much more. I am so grateful that Robert came to me through thumbtack because he helped make the best night of my life beautiful and fun and made the process stress-free. Thank you for everything, Robert!
We worked with Katherine Fonsella from DeCicco events and cuisine and she was WONDERFUL. We were planning a pre-wedding dinner for about 100 people in the Tarrytown area, but we live in Northern California. We did not know any venues or caterers or suppliers. Katherine helped us find a great, unusual loft venue, arranged all the decor, tables, lighting, and set up the catering from DeCiccos. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, everything went off perfectly. We are so appreciative of all that Katherine did to make our event wonderful!
Christina was great! I can't even imagine what my wedding would have been like without her. She went above and beyond her job description. She was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, kind, and a take charge person. I felt very comfortable with her being there and running the event. I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to others. You will not be disappointed!
Simply put, we couldn't have had our wedding without Ana! We did all the wedding planning, but wanted to have someone coordinate the schedule and logistics on our wedding day. Ana was absolutely perfect!! She was diligent in attending our final meeting and rehearsal, and offered invaluable advice leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, Ana and her assistant were professional, attentive and very organized throughout the event. Before my husband and I walked out for our first dance, Ana even noticed he was chewing gum and ran over to tell Doug to spit it out! My purpose for coming to Adreienn's was to get my sister sewing class. While talking to her I had express I was looking for a wedding dress. Let me tell you when I stepped in Adreienn's showroom I was wowed my first dressed I tried on I was sold. I love this woman she so helpful, attentive, professional and awesome. She is someone I will definitely be going back to for other occasions. P.s my bridesmaid dresses are also from her showrooms. Definitely a must visit!
I was so fortunate to have the help and expertise of Tyler and the whole HighLife crew when planning my birthday party this year. Tyler was so understanding and made sure I got everything I wanted. He picked out an amazing venue, concocted an original and delicious menu as well as specialty cocktails to fit the theme, he even booked an one of my favorite bands and a DJ to keep the party going all night. The party was everything I wanted and HighLife made it so easy and affordable. And as an added bonus the staff working my party were not hard on the eyes! I highly recommend HighLife for any occasion, they go above and beyond to make sure any event is perfect and runs smoothly. I will definitely be using them more in the future.
I highly recommend Linda!! She was fantastic and the calligraphy was beautiful. She addressed and assembled about 140 wedding invitations for me. She was super responsive throughout the process and delivered ahead of schedule. She also went to the post office and had the cards hand stamped. I was in between two ink styles and she provided sample pictures and her advice. She provides the same traditional style and service of very high end calligraphers at more reasonable price. I will likely have her also do my place setting cards next. Hire Linda and you will be very happy!!
Positivity, professionalism, honesty and diligence: the four qualities I looked for when interviewing wedding planners in June. Deepti is extraordinary and surpasses all expectations. We cannot recommend her highly enough! We are a same-sex couple who had a Hindu Indian wedding weekend. Deepti helped us plan everything for our wedding and reception at 501 Union in Brooklyn. We had so many specialized vendors (henna artist, dhol player, mandap builder) as well as the typical vendors (caterer, decorator, DJ, rental company). Deepti is highly organized with a google spreadsheet accessible to all that made the details clear. And she stayed on top of us to read it, update it and to give feedback on our decision making process. One of Deepti's best qualities is her grace under pressure. She speaks warmly and professionally—even when the brides are stressed and when there were unexpected vendor challenges. When the wedding planning felt overwhelming, Deepti was there to lend clarity and calmness. Our wedding was seamless. From the baraat, to our wedding entrance, to the cocktail hour and reception. Everything ran on time because of Deepti's diligence and professionalism. We were more confident because of her honesty. Even within short notice, MIZDIs staff curated my birthday gathering and coordinated all aspects. It was a incredibly successful evening. They exceeded expectations . Every attendee has a exceptional time. The party was full of jubilation and the space was transformed. I would highly recommend them. The owner , Debra has great attention to detail; I mentioned all my favorite foods, and she made lamb sliders , and she and a chef custom made a black strawberry cake. I look forward to using MIZDI for my mom's upcoming bday and retirement party.

I cannot express enough how thankful I was to have Cindy coordinating my wedding weekend. Not only did she take all the hoopla of decorations that I had bought and fashioned them into a beautiful bohemian romantic wedding setup, she ran my wedding rehearsal, picked up our dessert bar items the day of the wedding, navigated some tense family moments as a magical buffer, and also made sure that I felt taken care of all day, well into our reception (shoutout to the whiskey sour deliveries)! Cindy is thoughtful, talented, professional, encouraging, flexible, and has impeccable taste! I met Cindy when I was ready to rip my hair out due to wedding planning stress, and because of her (and Jac!) I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. That is an invaluable service, and Cindy puts way too low a price on it for all she offers. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and would not use anyone but her in the future for event planning services. Thank you again and again for all you did, Cindy!
Where do i start Melyssa was great. I hired Alchemist Events to plan my wedding in SC 4/7/18. She came down early and was very organized. She gave my girl a schedule and meant business. 1st time ever my girls where ever on time. It rained for the wedding and Melyssa didn't care she told me its blessings from God lets do this lol. I forgot all about the rain and i really enjoyed myself. Everything was on-time and she was very professional. I would highly recommend her
As our day of coordinator, Kate was a pleasure to work with! She was very professional, organized and has a pleasant personality. From our first conversation, it's very easy to see that she loves what she does. Our wedding day was filled with 2 ceremonies, a luncheon and a reception with lots of moving parts. It involved 3 locations and Kate was helpful in coordinating these events. Every time I had a question / concerns she was very quick to respond. She consistently checked-in with me to see if I needed any help leading up to the day of the wedding and eased my nerves. She even met us for a pre-check visit at 1 of our wedding/reception site. Working with all our vendors throughout the day, she made sure the day went smoothly. What really helped our magical day stay on schedule was an amazing timeline created by her ( which incorporated the photography and the DJ timeline as well). She went to all 3 locations before any event began and made sure everything was setup as we had planned. Kate was exceptional at taking care of logistics at our reception site and helped with the setup and breakdown of the hall (Since it was DIY location). Tina and Erica are angels sent from heaven. They were professional, attentive, basically magicians at times and helped me pull off the wedding of my dreams during one of the toughest times in our lives. My father-in-law passed away from cancer one week before our wedding and ATP stepped right in and caught the ball that we would have dropped. My wedding was perfect and it was all due to ATP Events. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.

Bella was so amazing during the entire wedding planning process! She was always professional and helpful! Bella was very flexible with our planning needs and attentive to our many details. Bella provided an awesome checklist and timeline for the wedding to make sure we stayed on track. She also was very helpful with contacting/confirming vendors before the day of the wedding. Lauren and Justine made not only the day of the wedding run without any faults, but also the weeks leading up to it. From the first planning meeting with Lauren, it was evident to me that the wedding was in superbly capable hands. She took over communication with the vendors and confirmed every single moving part of the wedding to create a master schedule, and then check in every step of the way to be sure that everyone was aware of the scheduling and to get live updates on the status of the schedule. Her organization made it simple for us to understand what tasks we had left to do and clearly showed a plan to execute all outstanding items. I wasn't worried about forgetting any details because I knew Lauren had them all handled and would also check all of them with us while adding her experienced suggestions. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Justine went beyond my imagination in how proactive, cheerful, helpful, and all around amazing they were. Lauren cued each parent and bridesmaid when to walk down the aisle in the ceremony. Justine communicated with our reception venue and helped set it up while the ceremony was ongoing. At the end of the night, Justine was able to pack up all items and make sure everything we needed to return to us got back to us that evening safely. There was no stress in either getting what we needed to the venue or taking everything back home. Due to Lauren's organization with her pack lists prior to the wedding and Justine's meticulousness, there was nothing in question for us. Hiring Lauren was our best wedding decision - we can't have imagined our day running so seamlessly without her and her team. Any prospective couples out there should get their dates on Lauren's calendar and rest assured that their day will run perfectly. We had the most magical day, and not once were we concerned about any planning details. Our vendors, bridal party, and guests noted how organized and smooth the event ran, all thanks to YWbL!
I really enjoyed working with Mirna and her team for my husband’s Gatsby themed birthday party. She was absolutely amazing. All my event worries disappeared as soon as I met her. She made out time to check out the event space and map out a plan. She is very responsive, flexible and creative. She suggested some pretty awesome ideas within budget and all the guests loved the decor. She also connected me with other vendors within her network who she worked with for the birthday cake ,dessert table and other rentals. I hired Mirna as an event decorator but ended up getting so much more. She helped with planning and coordinating the event and generally keeping me sane. Thank you, Mirna! I will hire you over and over again.
Celeste was a joy to work with. She took care of all the small details on the day of my wedding and made sure I could enjoy it fully. Whenever something was forgotten, or we needed someone to communicate between the bridal party and groomsmen (making sure the groom didn't see the bride!) Celeste stepped in to make sure everything was handled. I appreciated her calm and helpful presence. Thank you, Celeste!
Tosh and her team did a fantastic job at our wedding party. She communicated clearly and regularly leading up to the event and was very flexible in terms of accommodating last minute changes. All her staff showed up on time and took care of everything I had asked them to take care off and them some. The bartenders she brought along were also very efficient in serving our 110 or so guests and no one had anything negative to say. Our event went off without a hitch and all our guests left happy and with many good memories. I would definitely recommend her again.
Working with Kellie was a great experience. I shared with her my vision for our wedding invitation and she nailed it. Adding on the envelope addressing was a lifesaver and all of our guests were impressed with the total package. Will definitely work with her again. Thank you!
