I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Judy is a true professional in every sense of the word. She has a ton of expertise in physical fitness and training, and is always able to answer my questions completely and clearly. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she's also is a wonderfully friendly, kind, and encouraging trainer. I appreciate that she guides me through the session using clear, precise language while maintaining a supportive and positive vibe. She thoughtfully custom-tailors and plans my workouts in order to help me meet my stated goals, and at the same time she is flexible, as she is both capable and willing to alter the workout “off-the-cuff” as need be if I arrive at a session with a particular ache, pain, or limitation. I have made so much progress under her guidance and have become more confident to work out independently since starting training with her. I would highly recommend Judy to any of my friends or family members seeking a trainer!
Maria, I just wanted let you know how much i enjoy my Mondays and Wednesdays and you are a big part of that. I thoroughly enjoy the yoga sessions. I find myself making sure that i don't schedule anything on those evenings. The classes are excellent. I know the other ladies in the class feel the exact same way. I took mostly prenatal yoga with Dina and took some classes afterwards as well. Dina made me feel comfortable, made modifications for my practice during my pregnancy and helped me calm down and feel centered and a connection with my baby.

Nicky was extremely attentive and intuitive when working with me and gauging the type of experience that would benefit me most. My level of yoga experience was that of a novice, yet she knew I could push harder and helped me to escape my comfort zone relatively seemlessly. I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
Ellie was one of the first yoga teachers I ever had. While being a student of Ellie's, I went from a true yoga novice to someone who learned to feel more comfortable in her body. Ellie's classes always left me feeling rejuvenated, confident, and serene. I would often enter class with a racing mind and tired body. By the time class was over, I observed a noticeable difference in my emotional and physical well-being. The yoga and meditation techniques I learned from Ellie have become part of my daily life. In addition to being an outstanding yoga teacher, Ellie is also a compassionate human being who cares about each of her students as individuals. I would highly recommend Ellie to anyone seeking yoga and/or meditation.
Paul has a calm, even humorous way of encouraging our yoga class not to be concerned with perfect form -- a welcome approach to our class with several seniors. His relaxed manner includes explanations about which parts of a pose are most important; he gives permission for alternatives for those of us who need them. Speed is not his goal, moderate pace and attention are.
Taylor is highly professional and an absolute joy to work with. She is patient and helped me not only set goals and meet them, but grow farther in my yoga practice than I ever thought i could. I highly recommend Taylor!

If one person has been put on this earth to use their skills and knowledge of yoga to better the lives of others, it is Danny. Compassionate, patient, and insightful, Danny has not only helped me with a number of specific injuries and discomforts, but also introduced me to how yoga technique and practice can fit into and improve any lifestyle -- even for busy, results-oriented (Type A) people like myself who previously believed cardio was the be-all, end-all of health and fitness. Along with seeking straightforward yoga instruction, I've also come to Danny with lower back pain, a mysterious sprain/spasming at the top of my leg from cycling (quickly diagnosed as a pulled sartorius muscle, for which Danny knew a number of pain-relieving stretches and poses), and general tightness in my neck and shoulders. When I meet with Danny, I know that I'm going to be listened to, thoughtfully instructed, and generally well cared-for. I've also taken one of his group yoga classes, in which he is just as attentive and present. As a teacher, Danny manages to instruct, calm, and heal simultaneously. I can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for an introduction to or a deepening of yogic practice.
I've been getting yoga classes for few months with groups but since I had the first session with doron I felt much better she has great energy relaxing and positive really recommend on her she's My favorite yogirl :)
Let me start by saying I am NOT a yoga person. I just couldn't understand WHY people like yoga?! Then I started doing privates with Meryl about a year ago and now I actually look forward to our sessions. She has made yoga approachable for me. She tailors the session to my needs each time. She knows when to push me beyond my received boundaries and when I need to go easy. She has made into a YOGA person - and that was no easy feat!! If you are looking to start a practice or deepen an already established one - I highly recommend Meryl.
My private yoga session with Linda lived up to my expectations and then some. She arrived right on time, made me feel comfortable (even though she was in my apartment), and took time to understand my fitness/yoga level so the practice was challenging but not so outside of my comfort zone that I was uncomfortable. This was my first time using thumbtack and it worked out great! Looking forward to having another session with Linda in the future.
I love how smoothly my entire yoga class went. Karina make it very special every time. She can get in touch in spitirtual way and I always feel like a new person after her session.
Mackenzie was outstanding. This was my furst ecperience with yoga abd i am a 68 year old man. She was very patient snd understanding while at the same time coached me into doing those yoga positions that would help me in the areas where I needed it the most. She was wonderful
