Dom is my current teacher, I can only recommend him: beyond his wide knowledge and experience with music, he is a kind, fun, and patient person who makes it all easier for total beginner learning bass guitar like me. No hesitation here, if you are looking for a good teacher on the UWS he certainly is your go-to person.

I've been working with David as a "beginner" bass player for only a few weeks at this point, but I am already seeing really remarkable results, even in such a short time. He is very clear in his explanations, methodical, patient and knowledgeable. My lessons are a good mix of theory and practice (which is in response to my expressed interest in knowing more compositional theory). I feel much more confident about my bass playing, and am able to communicate better with band members. Most importantly, I have confident that with his continued guidance, I will be able to reach a level of competency and creativity. Based on my experience, I recommend him to anyone who want to learn the bass guitar, without any reservations.

Josh has been teaching my 8-year-old son guitar lessons for the past several weeks. He has been very patient with my son, who is an absolute beginner, and has also done a great job conveying his enthusiasm for music to him. He is also punctual and has done a great job of keeping us apprised of his availability. We've been very happy working with Josh.

Antonio taught me formal electric bass lessons from 2003 - 2006 at Studio 63 in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He provided me with an incredible musical foundation to build upon my own strengths as a musician. Antonio has an excellent ability to sense a student's needs and effortlessly blend them into the lesson at hand; whether it be theory, rudiments, or a song of the student's choosing. To this day I still apply many of the fundamentals that I learned under his instruction. He is a teacher who cares for his students and is truly passionate about music, and it reflects in his lessons.

Ralph is a patient instructor who tailors his instruction to my personal needs, all the while giving me a better understanding of music & the guitar. This helped me learn more quickly, as well as enabling me to pick up things on my own.

This is definitely the place to come for top music instruction. As a drummer, Joe has taught me so much and is continuing to teach me more and more during each lesson. In Joe's studio; he's got sound activated lights, smoke and bubble machines, you can play along to RockBand (which is my favorite). For Joe, the sky is the limit. Always thinking of ways for his students to exceed their expectations of music instruction. I've been a student of Joe's for 10 years and he's always having new ideas to make his lesson more enjoyable. Joe's staff is always full of energy! His staff are dedicated to their students and is a lot of fun to jam out with them. The receptionist is great to get along with always helping the students rearrange their lesson to what better suits the student. Joe's one of a kind showcase is always put together with flawless detail! Reasonable rates. But, this is definitely the place to come to for top music instruction; for all ages!! Keep on Jammin' !!!

Jay taught me bass lessons for about 6 months, and was truly fantastic. Over that time, I learned the fundamentals of the bass, and how to play some awesome songs. Jay is friendly, and a great teacher! He is able to communicate complicated information in a very accessible way. Well worth your time and money!

I was a student of Marco for a few years. He is very experienced, knowledgable, and extremely flexible with his guitar lessons. Marco has guided me from the beginning to the end to achieve my goals as a guitarist. He is very professional and every lesson was custom tailored to my needs. Lessons ranged from learning popular guitar solos+songs, music theory, auditioning for music school, and song writing. Marco was also able to identify my weaknesses and helped me improve on them. If there was one guitar instructor to choose from in this world, it would be him!

Colin is an excellent teacher! It's a pleasure to take guitar lessons from a New York working pro who also has 'chops' as a teacher. Five stars. Highly recommend!

Dillon is a very soft spoken nice young man. My son is learning a lot. He is always on time and very professional. I have used him for a month and I will continue lessons for another month. The only contrastive criticism I can give is that he is a little too shy! We like him a lot and recommend him to other young kids who are just learning.

He helped me learn a lot about my instrument and made me feel confident in my abilities. X10000 better than what YouTube was doing for me. Very kind and forgiving of my tardiness.

It doesn't get any better than Matt Robinson. He is extremely patient and encouraging. He knows just how far to push to keep you excited about playing. His knowledge of the guitar and music is inspiring. If you've ever toyed with the idea of learning to play the guitar, do it. Call Matt and you'll be glad you did. You will be playing your favorite songs in no time at all. Nice guy.

The best teacher I've had learning both guitar and bass. He knows his stuff and can explain with clarity. Both full of creativity in his playing as well as solid discipline in theory... he harmonizes them both beautifully and can tech you to do the same!
