FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask a client about the look they would like to achieve, and if they ware makeup on a regular basis, if yes - what do they usually ware. This way I can assess the intensity of makeup my client will be comfortable with - we all know the standard "natural" or "glamorous and bold" looks but in my experience these mean different things to different people depending on their own makeup routine. I also enquire about any allergies or reactions my client might have to certain products. Professional grade makeup sometimes contains alcohol, silicon, and mineral oils and I make sure I use a proper products for the best results on a particular client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained to do special event makeup and hair styling at Internationale School of Beauty in St. Petersburg, Russia. I also took numerous classes in Las Vegas in bridal makeup, HD makeup, airbrush makeup and body art from renown celebrity artists.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with photographers doing styled bridal and commercial shoots.
