- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on what works for the customer and me... not just me... I have discovered about myself with regard to pricing that I give the best work no matter the budget...You might be surprised just how much really nice mural work you can get for $1000.00....if I worked within budgets I wouldn't be able to show the amount of work I do.... no matter the budget my clients get my best work.... I'm blessed to do what I love for a living.....for me that is enough...
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client feels comfortable with going forward on a project, there is some design work involved 100% of the time....we have an onsite meeting, gain insight into the clients vision for the project, get some keywords,etc..at that point we ask for a $200 deposit for design....this gets you designs until you proclaim "yes,yes, that's it!" that can sometimes be 3 or 4 rounds of design work...usually 1 with some modifications ...once there is approval on a design,a budget or price is determined minus the $200 design fee, and when work commences a 50% payment is made...but 100% of work is completed and approved before we ask for the 2nd payment of 50%.... thus a good balance of trust is proctored....this process has worked extremely well for many years
