Introduction: I believe music is for everyone, and that, with a willingness to learn and guided instruction, anyone can learn to enjoy music at a deeper level. My goal as a teacher of voice, music theory, composition, and conducting is to empower my students with effective musical communication skills that help them get the most out of their music making in practice and performance whether solo or with fellow musicians. My lessons are ideal for band, orchestra, or choir students in secondary school who are looking to get more out of their school music programs as well as undergraduate music students who want to sharpen their theory and ear-training skills. I also gladly accept adult students who are looking for a deeper connection with music in their lives in worship or as a hobby.
