FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a number of different packages for my personal training and I am currently running some summer specials. I include nutritional counseling/guidance and help with meal planning as well as body fat testing and fitness assessments in all my personal training packages at no extra charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a free consult to meet them and go over everything. I try to get as much information about them as possible so I can customize a workout for them. I find out there goals, prior exercise history, health history, etc. Once a client starts I do a fitness assessment to help customize a program for them. The assessment consists of a postural assessment, movement analysis and flexibility assessment. This will help me find any muscle and structural imbalances and help me really customize and tailor a specific workout for the client. I also do a body fat test in the first workout so we can get see where we are starting at from a body composition perspective. I also email all my clients a copy of my nutrition guide (the Eiden Principles) for them to read and review before we start going over their nutrition and diet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois as well as taking some classes at the graduate level in Exercise Physiology at UNLV. I have a national personal training certification (CPT)from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as a national strength and conditioning specialist certification (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I also have a Level 1 Performance Specialist certification from the Poliquin Institute (PICP).
